- With its length of 361 meters, width of 66 meters and height of 72 meters, the Symphony of the Seas is one of the largest cruise ships in the world. The 228,081 ton giant has space for more than 6,680 passengers who can enjoy themselves on the longest slide at sea or in one of two surf pools, among other things. The report accompanies the luxury liner on its maiden voyage.

Incorrect…. The ship isn’t in “displacement” tonnage. It’s Gross Tonnage which is a measure of internal volume…1 gross ton is 100 cubic feet of volume.
That has nothing to do with weight

I went on this ship for my honeymoon this year it was amazing. Wonder of the seas was the largest ship after this one. Then icon is the biggest. Utopia of the seas will become the new biggest in 2025

Naval architects are not architects any more. I admire the engineering of these mega cruise ships, but some one has to do something about their architecture as they don't look like ships. They are just ugly floating buildings with balconies. I love it that ships become larger and larger but this is not an excuse to not have beautiful designs any more. For example Queen Mary 2 which is a very big ship as well still has a beautiful ship design.

I absolutely loved the video till you rather whitewashed how little the third world staff are paid. And it is only because of that,that the average middle class person can afford to cruise… low labour costs. Yes, that is life and some are luckier than others. But the whitewashing dialogue was, sadly, rather a low point in an otherwise great video.
