That's an AWESOME hurricane hole! Really wanted to see y'all catch a lobster but, yeah, they are very fast. My cousin goes out the day before lobster season starts and scopes out all the lobster's hiding places and the early morning of goes out and gets his limit in a few hours. I need to go with him some time and learn the art. He grew up in the Florida Keys so he has been catching lobster since he was a kid. Keep living the dream!

Thanks for sharing another lovely video of life in such a warm and beautiful place aboard Skua. I had 26 minutes of bliss, escaping my entrapment of snow at 15F on a winter day in Colorado. Blessings to you....wherever you are....hope you are well.

Bonjour Ryan et Elena another gray day in Lille, France. how nice to see the sun. how nice to feel warmth on the skin as opposed to Canada Goose jacket and scarf. again many thanks for the video. your videos are like a dear friend who never forgets you and being so far from California and the sun, i'm quite lonely. cheers

Loong time without putting a comment here... :)
When Ryan started to remove those big fish scales... one memory came to my mind almost instantly!
Few years ago entering in a little store full of hand made things, i have seen the amazing things that can be done with all those "useless" scales :)
What wonderful things they have there... from the small earrings to big size wall frames! Real pieces of Art!
That first contact with those works in fish scales was on Azores Islands, but soon find out that there are many places around where its also done :)
Just sharing a memory that came to my mind when watching another great video of you both :)
Kiss for Elena, hug for Ryan

viewed your video yesterday about changing from a barge to a real sailing ship, MONO HULL . In 1972 leaving Kingston Harbor in Jamaica we were knocked down two times after just leaving the harbor and heading east on route to Port Antonio. Its hard to explain to anyone what that feeling is like hahaha, lets hope you never experience it . Now if we had been on a barge with a stick our trip would have ended right there.
