      To be fair it doesn’t matter how you fold them. Any way you fold them will get wrinkles in them. The wrinkles are from the clothes sitting in that position for too long.

      roll them tightly and neatly into ziplock bags and remove the air or into compression cubes or into a small packing cube and that will enable you to fit a TONNE of stuff into your case or bag.. you can stack them on their end like books on a shelf and use a zipped pencil case or a thick woven document folder for toiletries ,decant them into tiny jars, bottles, spray bottles etc. 10ml of perfume or foundation or cream is plenty for a week ... amazon and e bay are your friends ... test out how much of any product you actually use for a week and you can multiply it by the amount of weeks you are going for .. use solid toiletries and shampoo etc. all these things take up FAR FAR less room and you can easily discard the checked in case ... look for the capacity of the bag or case for the size .. i found cabin cases with larger packing capacities than far larger check in ones so always check how many litres it can hold ... for example you can see a cute case and it only holds 20 odd litres but mine is smaller and can hold 57 and i have seen cabin cases that pack up to 62 but make sure when you pack cabin only you have no weight limit or a decent limit or else it doesn't work ..happy packing!

    Skivvy Roll is great for planning out your outfits so you don't end up over-packing, but I worry about stretching out my socks. Are there any alternatives to it where the socks aren't used to secure the roll? So far, I guess folding them over/under the roll and securing it with elastic bands could work, but I'm not certain it's the best method.

    • @jacquesmerde3282
      @jacquesmerde3282 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could just make the first fold deeper to accommodate the thickness of everything else and add the socks over the underwear then roll as normal.

    How about suit jackets, ties and dress shirts, plus ladies skirts, blouses, jackets, hosiery, underwear, etc? Going on a cruise requires formal wear on most of them, so I haven't seen a video about these items being folded, but I would like to.

      A tank top would work in the exact same way as the t-shirt, minus the step where you fold the sleeves over, it's even easier. As far as trying to ranger roll a dress, well, the same principle still applies, however, it will only work well with dresses that do not flare out at the bottom. Hope that helps.

    Hey! This promised 5 ways to roll clothes, and only showed one - the Ranger Roll ! What happened to the other 4 ways?

      I'm not sure how you could do the t-shirt and jeans without the socks, sorry...

    The fold at 230 if you include pants that are thin , like leggings, a skirt or maybe even jeans, you could use that fold shown at 230. Doing that would make it simple to change, because it would be a hole all fit, minus a bra for a girl.

    but what about the socks wont the elastic be spoiled!???

      If you try this with flimsy dress style socks then maybe. I have only ever used thick sports socks and never had a problem with the elastic being ruined :)

      Go Experimental, ok thanks, now I know not to do it to my uniform. Great video idea though! I'll definitely use this idea for my traveling!
