Considering there was another dodge dug in at that spot, might not have been the best idea to stand next to the only drivable path where if you stop because some pedestrian is standing in the only drivable path you might also get stuck... as someone who's driven on that beach for the last 20 years, it's more like pedestrian obliviousness needs to stop...along with those axle breaking (technically illegal) speed bump trenches they build...
Thank you for the comment. The stuck Dodge had a mechanical issue as the 4wd system failed suddenly. That’s an emergency. As you know from driving on that beach, there is over 150 yards west of that (where most vehicles are easily driving in the video.) We are literally by the shore so the pedestrians are exactly where they belong. The driver of the white truck should understand that he cannot brake on time or maneuver properly on sand. He should have picked a route further west and away from the shore. I agree with those stupid trenches and oblivious people who have little oversight of their children. 🎥
When in an area that has foot and vehicle traffic, both need heads on swivels. He obviously saw the guy on his left, but most likely missed you in front of the truck. You were not aware of your surroundings. At 7:38, a gray ram went by the opposite way in the same path, and you didn't complain about it. Because you saw him first. 8:05 another truck passed by the tacoma. It was 4 wide at that point. You complain about the white truck but gray ok, and red recovered ram was only 10' from the same path. How "close" is "too close"? Designated traffic lanes/areas for foot and vehicles should happen. i.e. no trucks traveling within xx yards of water line, 90 degrees parking only. City ordinance is at fault.

Another awesome video bro… dang what an idiot in the white dodge truck careless people I tell you. Glad you or the other guy standing by the shoreline didn’t get hurt.
love your vids. that driver sucks no doubt , very careless. The unspoken rule and courteous thing to do when posting up at the beach is to setup camp/Park away from the shoreline to allow vehicles to drive with ease as not all have AWD capabilities. Looking at things objectively I might see why the driver did it like trying to keep momentum, etc ... but he could have waited till the area cleared or risk taking the soft sand. the price you pay not have AWD.
also, huge fan from atx. I always wanted to go to the east cut and was able to go with my son. watched your videos to kinda know what I needed. we got stuck where you did but had a 30 ft kinetic recovery rope as you suggested. thak you and, you the man!!!
@@CoastalGX on a side note I wanted to ask you if you can camp anywhere on the beach or only where you go is it allowed? I dont have 4x4 Thats why im asking. And also never camped before at the beach.
@@sportsbro2220 You can camp anywhere along the 27 or so miles of beach from access 6. If you have a 2wd, then I suggest you stay as close as you can to the entrance. Staying overnight means you will see some tide changes and possibly put you at a disadvantage. Do not camp if there is potential for a storm or a cold front. Go watch my second video so you can see what I mean. Seriously, bad weather is unforgiving at SPI.
That truck was like 3 feet from y’all 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you guys are huge 🐱 I wound t recomend you guys go off roasting. I can’t believe how many babies there are in the comments.
The camera clearly shows the truck’s mirror close to hitting the man by the beach. It was enough to make him react. Nothing wrong with calling this out. Looks like society is divided into two camps and one of them advocates for stupidity. I’m trying not to be on that side.
@@CoastalGX That's all well and good. however, if you have spent any amount of time on the beach, you would know (especially during peak tourist season), that with the amount of people flying back and forth, that is just the way of it. And, if you react like this to every single time it happens, you're not gonna have a good time. maybe staying indoors is a better option...

Johnny on the spot with the assist 😎
Definitely a Toyota. Just in a Lexus suit. You probably know, but it’s sold as a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in the rest of the world. Just wish we had the diesel option here.
Yes, very familiar with the Prado 150/120. Most of my truck’s mods were imported from Australia. 🎥🎬🏝
Another awesome video bro… dang what an idiot in the white dodge truck careless people I tell you. Glad you or the other guy standing by the shoreline didn’t get hurt.
Thanks brother. Missed you out there!
@@CoastalGX I don’t drive a Toyota and I wasn’t invited haha jkjk ✌️it was cool to see Nacho and Cheeto.. I haven’t seen them in a while
You mess with Roberto, you mess with me😤
Me: Bro, help me! David: 💨🏃🏻😂😂😂
love your vids. that driver sucks no doubt , very careless.
Glad you got to experience the area. I hope it didn’t disappoint. I appreciate the support. 🎥🎬🏝
Ima find that ram… lol jk. Great vid
Lol. Thanks brother 🙏🏽🎥🎬😂
Sandy putting in that work
She deserves some more mods lol.
I was there 3 weeks ago. Drink dos X it’s will cool you down lol. Drivers yes some are morons no respect. Cool vid.
It’s sad when you have to trade the Modelos for pedialite 😅😭
That truck was like 3 feet from y’all 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you guys are huge 🐱 I wound t recomend you guys go off roasting. I can’t believe how many babies there are in the comments.
😂😂😂 Let me guess what you drive 😂
you look like the type of guy that would complain about this bullshit haha not even that serious, he was a mile from you bud.
@@bitsquirrel140 the people who can't respect safety and rules should sit it out. The outdoors is for everyone.
What's the hottest it gets
It’s always cooler on the island, but even when the temperature is at 88, it can feel a lot worse because of the sand. The place to be is right by the water under some shade. It’s perfect! The hottest may be in the low 90’s.
Your on acces 5 lol rent a condo lol
lol. Beach access 6 and I’ve rented way too many times. Discount for your boy though 😂
Was it a dirty Migrant?
He looked Northern European, but I didn’t check his hygiene 😂
@@CoastalGX lol.
