Here is a good way to rinse Quinoa without a strainer: Put the Quinoa in the pot that you want to cook them in, fill it with lots of water, take a whisk and thoroughly whisk it (I mean really intensively and release some your tension or mood on the Quinoa 😉) - the water will foam a bit and changes color. The Quinoa will settle very fast and you can just pour out carefully the water. Repeat this step a couple of times and you are good to go.
For someone who has struggled a lot with food in the past your videos feel so comfortable. I never feel the pressure to eat healthier afterwards but feel comfortable with what I eat.
Words cannot describe how much I enjoy these videos! The meal ideas are always so simple and seem balanced, quick and delicious. And the videos are obviously SO aesthetically pleasing. Well done
I'm obsessed with your videos. I would like to thank you for all of them, they are always nice to watch, to hear, and inspire a lot of us to make delicious dishes or snacks, I suppose. It is very heartwarming, calm, and full of ideas, with no judgment... And I also like that you show us the real amount of what you're eating, without always mentioning the exact measurments. Everyone has different needs or desires and it is reassuring to not only see people eating precise portions that seem restrictive and "planned". Thank you again !!
idk if it's because you're german and i'm american but i LOVE your random meal ideas so much! you always put ingredients together that i never would have thought of and it blows my mind lol (like your potato and cucumber and sour cream dinner!)
Potatoes on pizza? I love that idea. What I love about your videos is you put whatever you want on anything without caring about judgement. Other people always try to make everything look so “aesthetic” but I like the reality better.
Funfact: I recently discovered that the organic store alnatura has vegan spelt croissants! Their bakery counter has alot of fancy vegan options, marked as ''vegan'' or with a green dot
When I have leftover pizza, I usually heat it up in a skillet with a lid so it is crispy in the bottom and nice and warm. You can also add a small splash of water and put the lid on so it heats up evenly. If your laziness is stronger than all of this, just eat it cold(I also do that)
i was about to comment how creative and tasty your meals are while im watching this video eating plain pizza and there you go,having pizza as your first meal loll.loving those videos bestiee
For rising the quinoa, i usually do it in the pot: add the quinoa, fill the pot with water until the quinoa is covered, stir with your hand to properly rinse, then slowly tilt the pot to get rid of the water. I do this at least 3 times. It's the same method i use for rice cuz cleaning a strainer ia a pain
Although I’m not vegan, I love these videos bc they give me ideas to incorporate more meatless meals and snacks into my rotation!! They all look so good 😭🤚🏻
My faviorte way to use up canned peaches, is to use them to enhance a self-made peach ice tea with hazelnuts. I use a peach tea as a base (Teekanne Mediteraner Pfirsisch) and boil up a whole pitcher of it (1 Teebeutel for every 250ml of water and 1 for the pitcher). I ususally make around 1,5L and use 7 tea bags. If you want something coffinated switch two of the bags for a black tea of your choice (I'd recommend an Earl Grey). Don't use green or white tea, as they need a lower temperature and turn bitter if brewed with boiling water. As soon as the water and tea bags are in, add two handfulls of hazelnuts. Let the nuts and tea set until done according to your tea mixture. Remove the bags or loose tea and add half a peach out of a can for every 250ml of water, continue to let the nuts soak. Chill the tea and peaches until cold. Add some ice cubes and serve the tea. Make sure that everyone gets a peach and some nuts. If you don't want them in your drink, set them aside - they work well as a topping for some porridge (Griesbrei am besten). Enjoy! Ps: I will try to use the leftover peach liquid in a curry within the next days. Wish me luck!
First off, I always LOVE watching your videos and listening to your voice, it’s so calming and it’s cool to see the different brands. I also love how you don’t waste anything, you always find a way to incorporate your leftovers and being from the US I feel this is just so awesome since we waste so much food here. Third, I peeped you watch a Dylan is in Trouble video and I got super excited! I also love him! Anyway, thank you Mina for always making such wonderful videos and giving different food inspo 😌

Just a heads up. Detoxing is not a thing :) A normal functioning liver and kidneys is all you need. But if you like your lemon water, sure, keep it up.
re the edible flowers: if they are the same we used to grow in our garden (they look the same but I forgot the name), they taste really nice chopped up and mixed into home-made garlic herb butter (also as someone with a massive sweet tooth, I love that you eat chocolate pudding for breakfast haha)

There is a show in German TV called "Das große Backen", I think that's pretty much the same as The Great Bake Off 😂
