Thanks for posting the video, the two of you are easy to watch and good communicators. My wife and I are big fans of Cunard, have made 4 Crossing's on the QM2 and have booked a fifth. It's addictive. Not sure if you noticed when you were onboard but it always surprises us how many passengers are taking their second, fifth or tenth plus Crossing on this only remaining true Ocean Liner. Considering your luggage restrictions, you guys should be commended on the efforts you made to rise to the occasion. Chris, you looked GREAT and, in my opinion and onboard experience, you hit the ball out of the park. Steve, you as well looked very nice for the "smart attire" nights but unfortunately did not meet the Cunard posted dress code for the formal/gala night. Tuxedo or dark suit is what the dress code says not blazer and hiking pants. For a lot of the passengers, doing a Crossing on the QM2 is a very big deal. They may save for years and they are looking forward to a very unique and special experience. Some are at a point in their lives where this may be their only Crossing. So, I am always surprised at those few passengers who choose to fall short and then think themselves clever for doing so. Even though I am in my mid 70's, I get it that being thoughtful, considerate and putting other first has gone out of style but still, it is disappointing. Our last crossing was three months ago. We had spent a week in London, a week in Italy and then a week in the Cotswold region of the UK before boarding the QM2 Southhampton. Like you, we were traveling with two carry on bags. My wife also had a large purse and I had a backpack. Somehow we still managed to get a tux in there. It did help that the QM2 has complimentary washers/dryers and laundry powder so we were able to do some laundry. Jack
@@EatWalkLearn Ah, good point, and I love your approach to life, but they do rent tuxedos onboard the QM2. Would certainly enjoy running into you guys on a cruise but until then, I will continue to live vicariously through your great videos. Thanks and safe travels. Jack
I'm doing a double crossing on the QM2 this October - Southampton-NYC-Southampton in a mid-ship balcony stateroom. THANKS for your video!! Excellent!!!
We are taking QM2 eastbound next October, spending 6 days getting to Barcelona and then taking a Celebrity repositioning back home. It was a steal! Really looking forward to it. Love this video!
Breaking - I'd like to see Steve compete in the Breaking competition during the Olympics. It's new, so he may not be ready for 2024 but with some dedicated training, he'd kill it in 2028. GOLD for sure.
Hi Chris and Steve, We’re taking Cunard to Ms in February. What stateroom did you have? We selected an interior for cost but I’m concerned it may be small. Do you have any recommendations about this?
We purchased an inside room but got upgraded to a sheltered balcony (room 4100.) it was nice with a couch. But we were hardly in it except to sleep and it was too chilly for the balcony. An inside room would have been fine
Awesome information, thanks!
Glad it was helpful! You're going to look great
We have been waiting for this video. Hope you met some interesting people 😊
We did ;+) Maybe you'll share it with your new friends!

Thanks for your feedback. Alas, remember that we're carrying everything we own with us. Hope you meet you on a future cruise.

For sure!!! We'll get him practicing in Buenos Aires
@@EatWalkLearn Too late! Breaking has already been pulled from the Olympics for 2028. Steve will have to find another sport to compete in.
Que’nard 😉

I have some hiking/everyday pants that look like dress pants.
Then you're all set for the QM2
“Tech bro” pants are awesome for travel!
