    I want to add to the chat that the best way to apply Reedle shot is the pat it in _if you rub it you're going to feel more of the prickly sensation so I prefer when I patted in it's less noticeable. It's just a suggestion. Great review by the way Sarah. This is going to be my Holy Grail product for 2024. I'm calling it early!!

    I really wanna give it a try but the one concern that I don’t see anyone addressing… (I’ve watched review video after review video) Do the spicules dissolve? (Which I wouldn’t think “sponge” just dissolves… but I could be wrong.) Do they work their way out the skin when your skin cells turnover? Or do they accumulate in your skin over time like how fillers do and can create future problems like foreign body reactions or possible skin disfiguration. Hoping some dermatologist review this specific product. Dr. Dray has a video on spicules if anyone is interested.

    • @tiahnarodriguez3809
      @tiahnarodriguez3809 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Depending on the spicule used it will either dissolve in the skin, or it will work its way out of the skin within a day.

      I really wonder about that too. I also check spicules video from Dr. Dray. haha. Anyway I have been trying it around a month and in the same routine with tret 0.05%. The result is really good but then returning to my concern where would they (that natural needle) actually go? or it is just for creating passage way but the reedle stays on skin and you can just wash it out (similar to scrub product)?

    1. Can it be used in the same routine as retinal ? (I use peptides and retinal serum 6 nights a week)
    2. Can it be used after using an exfoliating (aha,bha,pha) product ?
    3. Can I use a gentle micro biome toner before this (using ma:nyo bifida toner which has a bit of pha) ?
    4. Can it be used in the under eye area?

    Got the 700 for my partner, but I was the guinea pig lol. I have easy to sting and turn red skin from chemical exfoliants. I used two pumps and went to town. Didn't mind the feeling and I really worked it in hoping for max results. Woke up with visible dead skin, so it's definitely exfoliating. No real irritation. Actives in the AM did not sting. Skin felt smooth. Would need to use it regularly to see if noticable resurfacing results are possible.

    This product makes me very uneasy. Silica will not dissolve or be broken down by your skin. It's silicon dioxide, the same thing as sand, quartz, and glass. The spicules could potentially get lodged in the skin and stay there. Additionally, if they do get stuck your body could have a foreign body reaction to the silica.
    There are no studies on this delivery method, no safety data, no long term effects available, and no regulation. If these were biodegradable and biocompatible micro needles then it would be different, but given the risks I don't think it's ethical to recommend a product like this.

    Start slow. I experienced itching around my face. I have learned to put a moisturizer around my face where I'm more sensitive, and snail mucin, so I create a barrier. I now use it every other day. But I still plan to use this. I'm sticking with the 100!

    • @gaylepinlac21

      hi! just a question, so after washing your face do u apply the snail mucin first then the reedle shot 100 and finally the moisturizer? I’m curious about this product but I’m hesitant to try it because I have sensitive skin and worried that I might get bad reaction from it.

    • @aprilneilson1163
      @aprilneilson1163 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @gaylepinlac21 before I apply the Reedle shot, I rub the snail mucin around my face, because that area always itches. Along my side burn area. Temples. Then I put on the Reedle shot. I don't apply alot because I find it intense at times. I put a drop on my forehead and both cheeks, nose and chin. I put a moisturizer around my face as well. Snail has really helped. That pink serum from the ordinary is great at controlling irritation. Put that around your face. On area's where your most sensitive. I don't put it on my neck. Too sensitive there.

    I started on this product in November last year. I keep it simple and use the 100 daily, the 300 every Wed, and the 700 on Saturdays. The effect wasn’t immediate for me. However, my skin is noticeably firmer and more toned. The pores are still visible but, overall there is a smoothness to the skin. I was watching Kelly Driscoll review this product and she was rather vague about how she used this product. And her comments were turned off. Strange. But, I have used these series of products and find that they do have a smoothing effect to the skin. It would be wise to start off with 100. In future, I think I can move on to using the 300 on a more regular basis since I’ve been on it for a few months now.

And I understand they recommend to use the 100 on a daily basis, correct? Do you think it is a good system to use all the versions (700 once a week + 300 twice week + 100 the other days)? It's funny I see his name and remember the death threats, lol. I worked in politics as a non partisan researcher and got death threats but I never thought that would happen in Skincare reviews. I'll email this brand to see what they say. 😂 Anyway, a few sellers state they are cf but is it possible that they maybe started selling in China recently? kbeautyarabia.com/products/vt-reedle-shot-50-ml-various-options and
