Bohol chocolate hills are natural , it's a mineral deposit when the island was underwater millions of millions years ago. When the island risen up the hills were formed naturally. Bohol is peaceful, safe because almost everybody knows everyone in small towns, many white sand beach, life is slow and appreciative, many town fiestas like sandugo...a blood compact from Spanish leader and chief leader in Bohol cutting themselves pouring their blood in the cup both drank as a sign of friendship and brotherhood. Like literal movie like scene😆. Most of all the people are very religious, friendly, and helpful. Its like home away from home. Many diverse foreigners hide and settle there peacefully with their families. Its a nice place to raise kids and family if one is lookin a nurturing environment

My grandfather was one of the forest ranger who over saw the planting of the trees of the man-made forest. Actually there are to 2 forest, the Rajah Sikatuna National Park in the east and Loboc Watershed to the west. The watershed was planted to support the Loboc hydroelectric plant. There was ranger station and a tree nursery at the foot the zigzag where the boundary of the town of Bilar and Loboc. The replanting of the forest started in the early 50 and planted mahogany a foriegn spicie now they replanting endemic spicies because they realized the mahogany forest is dead of fauna, its not a good host for animals and birds
During the dry season, the grass on those hills turn to brown, hence the name. Just want to say too that I love and enjoy your videos! Thanks for visiting Philippines!
😮😮😮😮 fireflies are really rare now in our forest...it's good there still alive ..I hope we can preserve this animals which are really going to be instinct..
Nice vids, guys! You mentioned you were going to Siargao in one of them. You'll like the vibe. If you think of it, the trip to Sohoton Cove to swim with the stingless jellyfish is really cool. It takes about two hours to get there by boat but it's a very scenic ride and there's some cliff jumping there too. Depending on the time of year, there may not be thousands and thousands of them in the cove (I went there in June and there were countless numbers floating around) so it might not be the best time of year to visit there if you go now.
Thanks for dropping a video, I've been scrolling for quite some time 😅 I always love your adventure ❤️ I remember when we went there when I was young the story goes that their were giants living there and they're like throwing muds at each other like a snowball fight then the result after a long time was the chocolate hills 😂
there's a road that lead u to the hills but they didn't let u pass with ur motorbike? What a scheme ,,they want u to avail their shuttle bus,, shame on the local government in there,,that business is a scam,,,,.. what's the purpose of that rode if they don't let the tourist pass with their bikes.. they want the tourist suffer
@3:05 Those kids asking if you're famous and then walks away was so funny 😆
Yes that was funny lol
Wow thats a nice adventure. Good choice
It really is! Thanks for the kind words, cheers
