Oh in the dry season yeah? We absolutely loved it here in September too, it did rain alot but that was part of the fun🤩 we would like to go back between Nov - April to experience the dry season too😍
Heading over to Jomtein on boxing day then koh chang for hogmanay, followed by koh kood then Bangkok for 6 days, this will be our 3rd time this year in Thailand, flying from Edinburgh on Xmas day, cannot wait, only came back on 15th Oct. 💙🇹🇭💙🇹🇭 hope yous continue to have a ball. 👍👍
Wow hogmanay in koh chang will be unreal🤩 that's a sick little trip you've got planned out👌 proper addicted, I can see why🥰 we've only been here 1 month and we're in love with the place✨️ you'll be counting down the days🇹🇭⏰️ hahah get back into the sunshine as soon as possible, yous must be freezin going back home to that weather🥶 the sooner your cases are packed again the better💃💃 thank you very much🥰
@thereal_islandlife aye it's a chilly one here this morning, how long are yous there for? If your there for a while I recommend koh lipe and Hua Hin too. My 2 favourite place I think. So looking forward to Koh chang though.
Naomis mum keeps us up to date with the weather, she's got our wee cat he's not used to that scottish weather yet coming from tenerife😅 we're planning on staying for a while just trying to sort our visas out just now before we get our 30 day extention🤞 oooo 100% had Hua hin on the list, suppose we'll need to take a wee trip to koh lipe now too haha👌 thanks for the recommendation🤩 if they're anything like koh chang we'll be pleased for sure🥰💖
@thereal_islandlife yeah, changed quite a bit over that time. Was last there in April 22. Reckon it's changed for the better though. A lot more infastruture now, and as it's so large, it's still nicely spread out. Check out Kho khud and Kho Maak if you can.
Yeah we found that everything was nicely spread out there plenty of space for everyone even though it's a small island😍 really nice that you've saw it get better with time✨️ that's 2 more places added to our list, thank you very much🥰🥰
As a family we are in Bangkok on Friday then on to koh Chang on Saturday, great content, very informative, we are from Gosport ,Hampshire , did you see any creepy crawlies? 😂😂
Omg you a d your family will love Koh Chang😍 It's been our favourite place so far, just such chilled out vibes✌️ plenty for the kids too🤩 thank you. We really appreciate the feedback💙 not many creepy crawlies, tbh there might be more about now that we're out of the rainy season😬 we did almost drive over the top of a big snake tho🐍😲😅 lots of monkeys at the sides of the roads too🐒💖
The Rasta bar looks sick! 🤩I totally agree about going off-grid with the bikes. I love dirt roads; they seem to take you to more interesting places than the tarmac ones, this trip looked amazing. Quick question: The last time I was in Thailand was Samui in the mid-to-late 90s, and then I stopped due to getting to Commercial. With bike hire in Chang, do you "need" an international licence? I plan on not taking one and not wearing a helmet that used to be fine back in the day but not sure about now.
Omg it was the coolest little place such good vibes and Elmo the 3legged dog made it even better🥰 for sure, so much to explore off the beaten path🤩 thank you so much, glad you enjoyed this one💙 im not sure as we bought our bike in pattaya although before it arrived we did have to rent one and the guy just looked at our passports didn't even check license and let us go on our way. He tried to scam us for our deposit tho so make sure you take a video of any bikes you rent before leaving the shop, that was the only thing that saved us as the video showed the damage already being there. I'm not sure how it works in Koh chang with the rentals but I'd guess it would be more chilled out than pattaya🤞 the license situation is a tricky one, you need an international license if the police stop you but if you don't have one you just pay 500 bhat fine and that's it we just went and got a Thai one right away to save any hassle as we plan on being here for a while also with helmet alot of people don't wear one but if you get caught by the police again its a 500 bhat fine. The roads are pretty dangerous tho we saw a few dead monkeys and a couple accidents so if your not planning on wearing a helmet please be careful💖🙏
@@thereal_islandlife Cheers. Yeah, the video of the bikes is a new must for me, many say the same as you. Thanks for the info, I kinda get the picture now. Enjoy your travels 🍻
No worries man✌️ always better to be safe than sorry, we lived in tenerife for a good few years so luckily we know a few of the tourist tricks these places would try pull😅 should have saw they guys face when we showed him the damage was already there on our video👏 he could not apologise enough🤭 anything else you'd like to know ask away, always happy to help🥰 enjoy ur travels✈️ youll be counting down the days I know we were🤩 hope it flies in for ya🤞⏰️✨️

Get your snorkel ready🤿
I was down at the bottom end of Koh Chang 20 years ago. Pretty sure some of those old boats were guest rooms.
Wow must have changed quite a bit since then, would be pretty cool to see a comparison😍 thanks for the info💖
