There isn't really a first or second class level on Chinese sleeper trains, it is just the type cabin with different prices. China also has some of the world's longest tunnels, including the Chengdu Metro Line 6, which is the longest metro tunnel in the world at 68.2 kilometers. 2nd is Norway. All I can say is in China the leaders don't compromise on giving maximum facilities to their people ! Looks like each province is competing with each other in cleanliness, providing business opportunities for there people , infrastructure and road connectivity! Such peaceful, neat, well designed, well organized trains and railway stations 👌👌👌 The people also, respect the facilities !

I’m glad to see you visiting China, including Chongqing where I’m living now. BTW every major city in China has at least 3 mega train stations, and yes similar in size to major airports. You choose the nice and relaxing sleeper train option of 18 hours, but for a similar price you can also get a nearly direct sitting train in about 6 to 7 hours for the 2 thousand + km journey. For the Wall, there are multiple points to see within the Beijing region. I think some are closer.

This class is called “Premium Soft Sleeper”. A good example would be the K53 / K54 train direct service between Shenyang North Station and Beijing, and the train company markets the cabin class as “Mobile Hotel”. A Chinese TH-camr named “Amanoshrimp” recently reviewed it (though all commentary is in Chinese tho).
