(1) It is nice to hear that you want a casteless Indian Society. But in reality caste rigidity is increasing. Majority of Kammas support TDP. Most of the Reddys support YSRCP. Is it not? Do you think that these parties will construct a casteless society? Take also for example the conflict between Mala and Madiga communities, do you think that these communities want to forget their castes?
(2) Sir, the origin of endogamous social groups is due to 'Manu Smriti' which is the central theme of Aryanism. We are under the rule of Aryanism today. Who are leading us towards a casteless society?
Kindly see these scriptures:
Brihaspati Smriti: A Shudra teaching the percepts of religion or uttering the words of Veda or insulting a Brahmin shall be punished by cutting out his tongue.
Gautama Dharma Sutra: Now if he (Shudra) listens intentionally to the Vedas, his ears shall be filled with (molten) tin or lac. If he recites (Vedic Texts), his tongue shall be cut out. If he remembers them, his body shall be split in twain. If (the Shudra) has criminal intercourse with an Aryan woman, his organ shall be cut off and his property be confiscated.
Manu Smriti: Indeed, an accumulation of wealth should not be made by a shudra even if he is able to do so, for the sight of mere possession of wealth by a shudra injures the Brahmins.
Apastamba Dharma Sutra: To serve the other three castes (Varnas, such as Brahmana, Rajanya, and Vaisya) is ordained for the shudra.

With due respect Prof. Ilaiah garu,
(1) Does Harppans even have a caste?
(2)I cannot question your research but why do you use provocative language?
(3)Yes, you can categorize people for research purposes but when blaming a whole community please consider numbers.
(4)Manu dharma is obsolete per today's standards. You have to consider constitution of India and please write on people who are violating.
(5)Most of the time I feel that you are playing a revenge game. Since Manu(I don't support manu) wrote against some sections of people you are writing books against some sections. How are you different from him?
I appreciate you because you are considering Indian constitution is the supreme authority. My point is that every body has equal right if this is the case why only Brahmans male are becoming priest in the TTD temple why not other community males and why they are not allowing females as priesthood in temples. Dr. Kancha Ilaiah raised that question. Spiritual equality before God.
I am not saying Prof. Kancha does't have a point. However, I am questioning his way of targeting certain group of individuals and provocation.
Yes, it doesn't make any sense to make priests form a specific group. However, it will take many more years to reform. Many societies around the world reformed themselves(very slow process) or someone intellectuals took a lead and reformed them.
The ultimate goal of any individual/organization/religion/nation is to survive. Spreading hate creates disharmony, hinders development and fails us as a nation.
