Those night shots were bangers. That's when the diffusion filters really shine I think. Been using a 25% promist on my x100f for the past few months and I love the look in harsh sunlight or at dusk. Reminds me of the Cinestill 800T film stock look.
I immediately ordered one for my x100f after seeing the first few shots 😭😭😭 I have a collection of 40 vintage 35mm cameras, but I got myself an x100f and it's such a joy to use because it has such an analog feel to it. After seeing your examples, I'm super excited to use it with this filter 👍👍👍
Nano Ponto Had the same thought. But a company coule maybe generate some more profits and make users happy by offering an optional filter themselves... 🤷♂️ But maybe it is not in their interest...
Haha yeah, I thought about this too before ordering the filter myself. I really like how film looks but unfortunately, it's pretty expensive where I live and there aren't a lot of labs around that develop them anymore. Such a shame but I already have a digital camera so might as well achieve that look.
When you started this channel I told you will grow fast! And here you are, Moment sending stuff for you. You sold me the filter, your presets even your button shirt haha
hey faizal! have you ever thought about adding the raw photos you took next to the edited ones that you show in your pov videos? for product videos especially, i feel like it would help viewers know what they're actually getting from the lens if they purchase it
Just wanna say I'm so happy your channel is growing bigger and better 🙏 Been here since you first started and was really hoping you'd keep making YT videos. Thank you 🙌
never bought anyones preset packs before since im pretty good at recreating looks by myself, but you're such an underrated creator so just had to support you and bought the analog pack! :-)
Night shots 100%. It blows up the highlights a bit too much during the day but it does give it a vintage film photography look which definitely adds character that’s missing from modern digital photography. I have the 20% because it came as a deal when I bought a VND filter. Cool thing is that they’re stackable so I can’t wait to use them together.
Nice introduction to this filter, thanks. I always use diffusion filters with digital cameras, but the best way to get the film look is to simply shoot film.
be interesting to have a follow up video on thoughts after more use (If you kept using) and if it has made you seek-test other diffusion options or alter your post workflow to add some digital diffusion, i'd be interested in something that tames highlights+lift a bit shadows BUT doesn't severely blur image-affect sharpness or over halos light (all videos I've seen are geared towards video use so no 100% crop to see the affect clearly)
Beginning of the video I'm like "that looks like Boston". Got it confirmed with the trash bins lol. I'm always on the hunt for areas to shoot in Boston. Never have good luck. Shots look amazing
i love your work faizal. thanks for making these. you have a way of making the filter look extremely nice. but from other comparison videos i still think the tiffen 1/4 bpm is the one for me.
I've been looking for a filter for my Fujifilm x10 hopefully this will work because Moment always comes with the fire products! Dope shot & great video.
That was a great catch of the bird at 5:05, my favorite of the photos you took. Thanks for the explanation of this video. I’m looking at a 5% cinebloom to run on a x100v. Also Massachusetts represent! I’m from Western Mass
I am korean. I really like the picture so I subscribe to it. I follow instagram too. X100V bought a week ago, and they are taking them every day. I always watch the video well. Thank u.
I got to ask, what lens and where did you get your step up ring? Don't know which one to trust. Great Video! Feeling inspired! And great music and shots! :) Subscribed!
Thank you for a very nice video, really like your approach towards that analog feeling. Question, are there any similar filters but with another brand, are the black mist versions basically the same?
Great work! I see this is 3 years old. Which analog pack from your site is being used here and what film sim are you using as a base out of camera? Did I see somewhere it was just straight Astia? Any “recipes” or is the default sims? I shoot film and just picked up an x100v to save money on film every week (camera math😅) but I’d still like to get to that film look that you’ve nailed here (I already have the filter).
Love what you've achieved with this filter. When i take photos i have the same feeling in mind. You have a great channel. Will be spending mlre time here 😄 subbing now
wow I want to go shoot photos now. that was fun to watch - photos were 🔥
Which one should I buy for fujinon 35mm?
Hello @moment we send you a message by mail!

Had the same feeling trough all the night part. Cinsestill 800 look for sure

"hate to take a picture of a trashcan, but sometimes you just have to." yep
but seriously, those night shots are great.
wow just wow... as a photographer that shoots film mostly I can say you have by far perfected the film look!!
When companies invest in making pictures look "perfect" and we invest to have it more "imperfect".
Love your vid and the results.
Cameras are tools. You can soften a sharp lens when aiming for a specific look, but you can't make a soft lens sharper ;)

Siempre que busco canales de fotografía encuentro un comentario tuyo 🤣
Yo these colour photos are the closest I have seen digital come to emulating colour negative film before. I am convinced, great work Faizal
the reflection of traffic at 5:31 was my favorite shot. i like how the reflection bends the left of the frame downwards. cool filter.

Faizal, I'm binge watching your videos, just ordered my first Fujifilm camera, the x100f (couldnt afford the V.) Love your content!
Wow. Out of all the videos on the cinebloom filter, your video is by far the best one ☝️
I like the look of the Fuji with this filter. I'll keep saving.
Nice introduction to this filter, thanks. I always use diffusion filters with digital cameras, but the best way to get the film look is to simply shoot film.
Agreeing to you saying just shoot film but then again, film and developing costs a lot.
4:55 has to be my favorite.. Such a good shot.. keep it up!
he didn't even tell her about it
OMG im glad i found your channel finally someone who gets to the point!😭👍👍👍👍👍

Really excels at night, especially the 10% version
What main camera/lens/filter did you use for that video (when you speaking)? Imaeg looks really great!
Do you like the 20% for photos? Or would you have gone with 10%?
6:08 is dope!!!
Your photos are pure class, some of the best I've seen in the photography youtube community. Wish I had Lightroom so I could steal your colours ;^)
That shot right there, beauty 5:58
