Absolutely love this design! This is THE PERFECT base for new players that wants to get better at the game and step their building skills to the next level. While this is not a full bunker base with 1000s of little details to maximise its efficiency, it does the job absolutely perfectly. This is a great step toward more complex base building. Once you get this base down to the tip of your finger, you'll have more confidence diving into more complex build. I have almost 1000 hours into this game and this is one of my favorite design.

its typically a bad idea to use inefficient lootrooms, as they increase cost, and its usually better to either make cheap external bunkers(chad shed v2 style externals, or freehanded conditional bunkers, or even vending machine conditional bunkers.) or just use a more efficient lootroom and add more honeycomb. If u still want a more protected base instead of the extra space just use triangles.

Solid 18 Rocket Raid with garage doors. Can be increased to ~30 with all armored. I think I will be trying to add a pixel loot room to the bottom section. of the 2x1 open area in front of TC.
Finally! I used the other design of this and noticed a big flaw by the roofpeice, if you blew right infront of it you got TC, but this is amazing
You can finally rotate roof tiles now, they fixed that so you don't have to mess about getting the right orientation at long last

I like the build. Can you start incorporating automated smelting systems in your designs? I see a couple spots you could switch out for it, but it would be nice to see your thoughts.
you can fit 6 electric furnaces in the triangle he used for furnaces with a shelf, or you could fit 18 in the square with a shelf
or in the shelf at the jump up to second floor, you could fit 6, with a couple of small boxes in front for depo and smelted ore
I really would place single door frames in the roof, that i get some protection walking around the 2x2 area.
The only way up is right when you come in the front door so if they raid that front door you essentially can’t get on the roof unless you respawn and as someone also mentioned you can soft side your peeks
The roof shooting floor is fire.

the roof peaks can get softsided into, so don't use this base while thinking its offline safe from the top. lots of options here to softside inside.
thats what the turrets are for preventing any new players that want too softside/eco raid are not possible
Great idea! With the Adobe skin pack the roof cover is peeled back and could open up new fields of view from the tower.

The missing foundation for the refinery caused me some building privilege issues, and I wasn’t able to build in certain spots on the base. I’d reccomend at least making a twig foundation to avoid any problems.

Gotta get on the electric furnace train. In that triangle space where there are 3 small furnaces, you can fit up to 6 electric furnaces which is twice the efficiency of a large furnace
Naw. I've run several bases with electric furnaces. I'm tired of needing charcoal all the time
@@Reksmore that's a fair downside. I usually find boat loads from raiding or decaying bases though
I'm too nice. Most of my raiding is just revenge raids or helping neighbors

@@Reksmore Just use regular furnaces with industrial to burn wood, you can buy 3k wood for 1k stone at outpost.
one of the issues ive had was the peaks dont cover the walls or the front door, also fireplaces help to be able to actually see over the quarter wall
if this thing had a bunker this would be wild
you can do a 2x2 bunker and just expand on it the same way
We built this for a trio and it was plenty of space, great turret defense, and awesome peeks.
did you upgreade it further later in the wipe?

Why don’t people use the ramp loot rooms anymore? If ramps left stone the boxes can be positioned so you have two small boxes down the middle of the two large boxes ,so very easily accessible.
It would be nice if you did a base with a help garage/landing pad on top

Hi mate. Love the base, have a look at ‘the lava’ by psycho he’s a smaller ytber, he uses a double g door method for the turrets so they can’t be baited but if your getting raided or door camped u can open them from inside. This has helped me a few times doing online raids, if folk are half in ur base and you spawn in and open them there stuck in ur base, should have a look and make something similar
How do we deal with the dead sports where the frames block the turrets?? You can walk right up to the base by using the dead spot
So 2 fire rocket and you lose your picks, beds, lockers. With only 1 way out off the base and turrets that don't cover 360, that will be a easy online. I would love to put that to test.

Quick question, why does your ceilings have soft sides? Like wooden on one side. Mine is just stone both sides
Graphics settings, that said ceilings are always soft side underneath even if you don't see wood

You could easily apply many bunker mechanics to the standard 2x2 expansion

I made this😂 my teammate had some friends he meant on rust he asked me to turn off the Turrets and I did he showed them around I got off 10 minutes after that forgot 😭 to turn them back on and got raided by a 6 man and my teammate didn’t even get one😂 bot farmer 😅

I like this base but I feel the turrets will bring more attention and reason to raid. Am I wrong? I just did this on a 2x. Before hand my first base on the 2x monthly got raided with hqm core doors and sheet everything else lol. Guess it don’t matter on a 2x though unless I’m wrong someone correct me if so. I normally play vanilla but team wanted to go modded 2x
you could consider using garage doors instead of chainlink that you may be able to open via switch/HBHF sensor or from the inside when you get unwelcome company?
