@@Reksmore@JulyTheGinny I can see a bunker being easily added to this design. Skip Stage 2, and build Stage 3 FIRST, then come back and build stage 2, but before building the loot room, make a gamelightz 3-tile god bunker.

Great base design Rex. Like it a lot. Few improvements: 1. Some of those roof peeks should be metal to prevent soft siding. 2. I always run 3 furnaces because of splitter. From 1st set branch(13) to conveyors using pass through to the splitter then the furnaces. All on 1 branch point. 3. Turrets always need a switch then the branches. Without a switch you can’t turn it off to reload. Just small things. ❤
One thing I do is just run all my sulfur through the regular furnaces and set it up so both wood and sulfur in the box to start the transfer. you can also do an igniter, linked into the system to auto start as well. that keeps the electric furnaces just pumping out metal frags and high qual.
the storage where you put your repair, you can change the layout for more storage, put 2 big boxes on top, a small between, then the repair table and 2 small inside, you reach to the 3 boxes on the back aiming bellow the repair table, then you have the one bellow that had the repair table, now free to place 2 big boxes and the small ones again. if enemy want to go through where the repair bench is now, they will need to destroy the repair bench too, of with this layout you place a ramp on the space that used to be your repair bench, bellow and that ads for extra security. but i know you dont like ramps :P (i am allways refering to the storage room that has the repair bench). BTW: this base is very nice :)
the reason why the shooting floor should be done at last relies on stability. The whole honeycomb area needs to be done correctly so that it brings enough stability for the ceiling. Applies to any construction

@Reksmore I've been living in your 360 peaks tower for the last 6 days n I have to say it's a little weird to defend from but built it at the peak of a mountain making those peeks that much better
Used this base this wipe, fully built... then got offline because there's no turret on the lower levels defending the back. Gonna re-build, but see if I can work a turret into it somewhere... perhaps do a low-wall peek on the back honeycomb?
I like be this base design and I love how you slit your builds into prices and the cost but I play on console so there’s a bit I can’t do that you did on this base 😢

I’ve just adapted this shooting floor onto a bunker with the same footprint. You have to change the entry door orientation a bit but it works. Do some experimentation!
Hey guys idk if anyone can help me. Those 2 large boxes at the start (one in front of the TC and 1 beside it) don't seem to fit for me, they are just slightly too big. I'm on console btw. Are boxes bigger kn console or did they get bigger since this video or am I just doing it wrong? If anyone knows they answer or has a similar issue please lmk 🙏

I have a tc and a lock on it and everything and people built up an peeked inside or something cause they kept comin back to look at my progress and as im taking a break I get raided and when I come back they blew out the perfect spot and stole almost everything but now I cant even build here anymore and they destroyed or took my tc.????
for anyone watching this, dont build it. its horrible. you're probably new, which is understandable, but if you want some actual good bases that will set you up for starting out in rust, with real meta peeks, bunkers, good quality of life, actual thought out bases, id check out basso, crow, lackii, or ethan

i dont use switches. i just configure power to 1 when reloading. i dont like peeps being bale to shut off my defenses

Also I think ekostik peaks on two of the sides rather than 3-4 ladder hatches on shooting floor would suffice much better for made defense

@AzUeL82 that's actually why I made this one. A variety of peaks leads to much better angles

So until Stage 7 its just 1 wall into your TC
add a layer of honeycomb earlier. I said you can start doing honeycomb at any stage but it needs to be completed by stage 7
