I loved this walk. My daughter lived in Rotherhithe and shopped in Surrey Quays. So nice to see where she lived. She worked at Canary Wharf. Not all for the rich. She's working class like her mum ❤️ On to another walk tomorrow x
You are so right Anne, the City, West End, Canary Wharf, there are so many places that have one particular reputation that isn't true for many that work there. I'm from proud working class roots too! I actually loved the whole area around Greenland Dock, however the aircraft noise was much more than I was expecting. All the best, Angela

Hello Angela Lovely walk around Canada water. We look around at the price of flats in the area 600k to 850k. Not bad. My grandfather's family came over on a Cunard ship in 1912, they where from the Portabello road area. I have a picture of the statue of the porters it is among the trees which are all gone now. Stay cool. Chris and Sandra of Canada.

My fellow Canadian and Vancouverite Michael Buble is here in Canterbury right now about 5 mins from my house. Back in Vancouver he lives just 10 mins away from my apartment. I won't be attending his concert tonight as much as I love his music. But I'll be able to hear him shortly whilst watering front and back lawns. Save the last hosepipe for me. Anyhow will write again soon re your video as well as your other "Canadian" reply to me. Update: His helicopter flew right over our back garden! Wish I had put out a big Canadian flag in the hope he would see it just before landing at the concert venue!
