June painted Charlie in a different light in the police interview than she is while testifying. It’s like she’s afraid to make him look guilty yet she says otherwise in the police interview. All of a sudden she’s not so sure.

That's not all she knew.
As she clearly noticed what could be described as paranoia when an associate of his was arrested.
Even June knew something very wrong was going on with him, while he wouldn't tell her the truth.
But instead of facing that darkness she idealised their relationship and is sad because he now has a child with someone else.
Her family need to sit her down and help her face facts.
The cops told her (june) - no one will ever know about the conversation she had with them. That’s probably why she so shocked about all the questions related to that exact interview
This was her 3rd trial testimony. Each time she was backtracking and being evasive.
Prior trials she admitted to Charlie being in contact with her, until he was arrested.
She said in 2nd trial , I believe it was, that she was recorded without permission. Sounds like Charlie. Then this trial she said transcript was wrong. Sounds like Wendi.

She was firm when she testified at Katherine’s trial. But now she all of a sudden forgets everything that happened. This isn’t about Charlie keeping her in the loop. I also agree with you that he didn’t tell her he hired the murder; however, she completely pretended like she forgot what she told investigators and when she was reminded on the stand of what she said, she stated that she was “speculating” in effort to protect him. @32:38

We know he knew of her recorded interview, her appearance on 20/20, etc. She even labeled the bumb by undercover to Donna as "the extortion" That was new from her interview and both trials.
