The game is really good, the racing/running levels werent my favourite but the 2d levels and boss battles are classic. The fmv segments from the movie didnt hurt either. The game is a bit short but had great atmosphere, and is one of the better movie based games that i played.
What a wild notice. I just realized something the PS1 demo of this game uses the dim sprites for Hercules too. What a subtle difference. But I always felt the demo was different in a bunch of ways.
Hydra boss battle is far superior on PS1 than PC... the whole lightening effects are totally missing in the PC version... they add up to the atmosphere exponentially!
I wish Disney remasters his classics like this game. The lion king snes, aladdin snes, magical quest trilogy snes. They should do the remasters like Gargoyles remastered being faithful to the original material they based on.
PC actually has somewhat worse video compression ... not by much most of the times it looks fine Both version seem fine, just that the PC obviously uses filtered sprites, probably due to upscaling.
is it me or did the introduction video have more artifacts (macro blocking) then the PS1 version ? could be from how it was captured, or the video actually looks like that in game. I'd have to go with the PS1 version even with its longer loading times.

If i have to choose, which version i want to play Hercules, i choose PC because i am more PC man than Playstation man. Both looks almost same but is ps1 draw distance in 3d phases bigger than PC? Looks like ps1 grass color is little darker than PC.

Hades é tido como mal e inimigo de Hércules neste desenho da Disney... ¬¬) Na verdade quem era inimigo de Hércules é a deusa Era mulher de Zeus, pois Hércules era filho de uma humana com o marido dela (ou seja filho bastardo de uma traição).... Ela viva perseguindo Hércules e querendo acabar com sua vida a qualquer custo... Hades nada tinha haver com Hercules, nem mal Hades era, ele apenas era Deus que governava o submundo e lá tinha três juízes que trabalhavam para Hades, estes juizes julgavam as almas boas ou más... A boas eram mandadas para os Campos Elíseos (paraíso grego), e as almas dos maus para o Tártaro (lugar de sofrimento e desolação). Com isto nem preciso explicar que a Disney fez uma palhaçada com a historia da mitologia grega, além de inventar e inverter a historia... Sem falar daquele velho clichê de colocar Hades como mau e vilão... Sendo que na mitologia ele era muito diferente....
Con razon la play era mejor , en pc no tenia mando ni podias guardar partidas , muy mal pc y eso por no hablar de windows y sus pantallazos y gargas del juego al iniciar ,perdia mucho.
Your comparision is bad, I play hercules on pentium75 in 1997 and on psx in same time and version PC is very very ugly , but your video don't show this, to same is in mortal kombat 3 version PC is very ugly but no on your video only in real PC.
I always played it on PC the same as mortal kombat (plus two) and I never had that problem and I played it with a 150mhz pentium it was my first PC that was mine and not my father's
lol bro you are talking about playing it on a low spec computer, you probably didn't get the max out of the game. I hate when people compare pc ports to console ports and use a shit pc. Obviously in that case console will be better.
