Some nice images from my home city Nelson, though I live the other side of Bolton now. Not done any photography for a couple of months due to a serious health issue, nearly went into Manchester this afternoon but as too tired but I’ll get back into it some time this next week.
The TH-cam algorithm had your channel pop up for me, so I'm happy to be a new subsciber! I live about 45 minutes via train from Manchester and reguarly visit to do street photos. I love the diversity and various cultures that can be found all within walking distance in the city centre. I also like to consider it the 'London of the North', haha. One question if you don't mind, how do you deal with anxiety of photographing the streets by yourself? I always find I need someone with me while doing street photography, as I'm quite a nervious person, whether it's my brother who is a photographer as well or my partner who is also quite a creative person and therefore understanding. Thanks and hopefully you'll be posting more again soon!
@@MrJamieDenton hello Jamie! Thank you for subscribing and welcome! I was so busy the last few months and I couldn't upload any videos but one is in the works right now and I'll be talking about a few tips to get close when doing street photography. I prefer to go by myself as I can really get into the zone, but if you feel better shooting with another person keep doing it until you feel it's time to do it by yourself, at the end of the day I think it's all about that inner voice that makes you take the photo, whether you are by yourself or with other people.
Nice vid mate, just cop the gx80 im testing out still, any recommendations about? may you tell me from where is your wrist strap? Tanks mate. keep it up!
Thank you mate! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I like to keep it simple with the Lumix GX80, always shooting in raw and not having too much on screen to focus on composition. Turning off the touchscreen and using the half press for focusing helps a lot. What lens do you have? The strap is this one: amzn.to/3vjNGmG
Very fascinating pictures you took there !!! Personally, I started practicing photography recently and got myself a Lumix GX80 as my first cam. Therefore I am very curious on your setup for the cam and your thought process on editing a picture. Could you sometimes share that in your vid too ?
Thank you so much! I agree that the GX80 is a great starting point for street photography and ever more. Yes, a video of my settings and workflow is coming soon 🙂
YESSS NELSON!! Getting better and better!! Great snaps that inspire you to get out there and get the camera clicking!
Thank you so much Patricio! I'm glad you enjoyed both photos & video 🙌

@@nelson.arguello ohh Great mate thank you, I do have the 20mm 1.7 and the 14 mm 2.5 as my main lenses,
I just moved to Manchester too, and I'm finally preparing to go outside and explore it with my camera. Well done.
