Really enjoyed your video which randomly appeared on my feed my friend. Peru looks like an interesting country to visit. Assuming you take sensible precautions would you say it is generally safe? People generally friendly?
I have been on the road for almost 2 yrs now and haven't felt unsafe once. Every time I've had a mechanical issue, someone is nearby to help. Good people are everywhere. I find if you smile & say hello first, people generally respond in a positive way. I also don't ride at night. Same rules apply at home, I wouldn't go out at 2am in Vancouver, BC. PS: Your skydive in Aruba looked amazing!
@@TrippingwithAl Cheers my friend. Yeah skydive was a bucket list treat for my 50th. I ask about Peru as Machu Pichu and the whole Inca Trail is another destination on my/our list, but I want to do a full exploring driving holiday not just a tourist guided visit. My wife seems to think South America is just bandit country LOL Safe travels !
@@TheComputec Machu Pichu is a must see, I toured it 11 yrs ago. There are bandits everywhere but there are more good people than shitty. You're going to have an incredible time!

Did I see snow?? You know bikes and the white stuff would probably make a great video… but also cold hands 😂
I just pretended that I had snow tires! BUT, yes, I've been surprised by snow a couple times on this amazing journey!
