    Was the red card offence bad?

    • @Karma-qt4ji
      @Karma-qt4ji 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was fucking ridiculous actually. du Toit was holding onto his shirt after the ball left the maul, so Holloway got upset and elbowed him in the head. It was a clear red card, intentional elbow to the head, no problem and he will almost certainly lose a couple of games. The ridiculous part is that du Toit got yellow carded for holding onto his shirt. I have watched a lot of rugby this weekend and seen a lot of players holding onto a lot of other players for a couple of seconds after the ball has gone; it's not nice, but it is so common now that it is not even punished. Unless, of course, someone elbows you in the face, then you need to be yellow carded.

    Refereeing becoming more and more inconsistent. So many forward passes this season that seem obvious, but the refs let them go. Then there's the Sharks 2nd try, how can that be good? He was held up and there were at least one set of opposition hands on the ball when he eventually rolled over. 🤔
