That's not a hood stack. That's just a hole in the hood. The stack part attaches to the hood and comes down over the exhaust pipe. Make it about two feet tall so the smoke goes over the cab. Here's mine. th-cam.com/video/l_R7AxAQIcM/w-d-xo.html

I was watching close but couldn’t tell, is your short bed a half ton or did you chop a 3/4 ton? If it is a 1/2 ton what did you have to do about motor mounts? Are they the same frame mounts in a 1/2 ton as a 3/4 or did you cut them out?
