Nice truck pal! If you put on that browning steering wheel cover, make sure you're gripping it extra tight off road, I bought the same one for my '95 12 valve, say's one size fits most, I guess Cummins aren't part of that 'most' part. Was tight enough on road driving, but I was crawling a washed out, bouldery hill on the island I live on, was a road before a couple weeks of crazy rain haha, but the steering wheel spun inside the cover, and cocked my wheels over and dropped me hard onto the rock I was climbing around. Turned the outer tie rod and drag link into pretzel, and had to crawl out with an upside down steering wheel and a crosseyed front end haha, so again hold on tight to that bastard! Would hate for it to slip on ya! And nice valve covers, man those are slick!
There is a polish you can buy at places like O'Reilly called "blue majic". It will polish the intake tube about like chrome. I used it on my old trucks aluminum wheels and they always turned out killer
The covers look nice but how is that a must have you know whats a must have if you have all mechanical 12v a vice grip and 2 small pieces of wood clamping the vacuum line for the turbo instant power gain for the price of a vice grip that youd probbly have laying around just saying
You probably should have at least checked the valve lash while you had the valve/rocker covers off. I believe its suppose to be checked/adjusted every 24k. but a lot of time nobody does it.
I believe that is for the newer engines like 24v. I actually looked it up on cumminshub.com because I thought it was every 40 or 50k but wasn't sure. But after researching it for 12v 5.9 Cummins it is 24k or 24 months.
As always great video man can’t wait to see more power going to this thing and just my 2 cents I think if you used some back to black it would help make the truck look a little nicer. I’m all about the grandpa look but just the small things do help.

I painted my valve cover plate for my 1st gen. Also please don't do it (the give away) like the more merch you buy the more of a chance you have at wining the give away. And lastly, you could do like a parts give away. Like a p-pump, head studs or gaskets, seals and stuff like that.
Zach Hubbard if I have away a truck I 100% will have to do cash entry through buying merch. Otherwise the giveaway will be saturated with people who are either little kids or people who don’t understand how serious that type of giveaway is.
