I know this is a old video, just started watching ur channel. Does the 12 valve and the v8 use the same motor mount? Or should I say frame mounts ? Lol
That's a question I've been asking for over a year and no one can answer me? I'm curious if all engine frame mounts are the same for 1500/2500/3500 be it V8 or V10 or diesels?
Hey man I’m doing a half ton Cummins swap myself. When you got all finished how are your 1/2 ton axles holding up? Only thing I’m worried about on my swap

any reason a to do this to a 1500? i mean i guess the 1500 might be lighter but if you wanted a shortbed regular cab cummins i would imagine to get a 2500, cut the frame and slap a shortbed on and shorten driveshaft wouldn't be to bad? unless this was way cheaper to do than im thinking
Apples to Oranges, If your doing it for looks yes the frame cut option would be easier and cheaper. I simply just wanted a factory frame uncut and halfton axles to be lighter.
Time to delete the door badges and get a srt6 cummins badge on there!
badge are wack
We’re the truck and the engine/harness the same year?

Did the motor and trans mounts bolt up?
What was done for engine mounts? Bolt right in ? Also why did you swap dash? Is 1500 gasser dash not able to work with 12v
Would it not be easier to just do a short bed conversion on a 12v already?
Awesome!!!
What's the average cost $$$ to do the swap
Where you guys located
Nice ✌🏽💯
