The legend of ewaste street scrapping is BACK ! Congrats on 98k subs 👍 nearly on the 100k sub mark and getting that you tube silver button plaque too 😊
Not sure if it would have been worth picking up some more scrap steel to round things out a bit? I appreciate your mate Frank was out and about - however there were bedframes and what not, could have maybe made a load as a make weight? Nice vid tho - always enjoy your street scrapping, out and about:)
Good morning Ben and Chook. Great video, enough rain to stay cool. Please stay safe and healthy and take care of yourself and your family members. To all members also. Ttyl my friend. ☺☺☺😇😇😇
Its good to see you back on the scavengers hunt for some goodies 😉 I did miss that treasure huntin videos. Regarding ps stuff and gaming stuff most of old consoles ps1 ps2 etc they are still working fine and they are start slowly increase in walue. You might consider keeping or reseling them.
The most I've scored was 75ft and 50ft of coax cable, an this is where we have 2 big dumpsters in our condo complex. People who don't live in our complex just dump their stuff (illegally of course) there. I plan to reuse and make an antenna for my ham radio but also will keep to scrap if necessary.
agreed that folks take forever to put stuff out. yeah pickings have been slim, lots of competition n so many upcyclers that live in moreland. Never understood why they split the areas into 2 each week. I only went to the northern half on Saturday (hadfield/glenroy area), I avoid the southern most ones due to streets being narrow so close to the city. hmm @ 4:34 i've seen those red cases mentioned on moreland hard rubbish rescue fb page.hmm 5:50 they must have put those electronics out sunday morning, i recognize that lidless green bin. my best scrap find in one bundle was 2 pcs, a set topbox, a dvd player and a modem (all of course had the telltale signs of cord cutters). in the end i barely filled a Qtr of the ute with stuff. Its interesting how you mentioned the scrap copper wars last week, i'd seen 2 fridges in my travels with the compressors ripped out. (which of course means gas released, naughty.) no surprises with the microwaves saw similar back in January this year (and all 15+ bbq plates taken too. never understood the reason for the bbq plates, maybe cos its heavy steel?) air compessor oil leakage? yep also been there and done that.
I like the old square front Vito. pretty hard to come by in the UK now. mainly if you find one they are disability conversions. unfortunately more trouble than they are worth despite the guaranteed low miles. fingers crossed for a barn find some day. top quality auto.
Hi Ben, awsome what you do and very efficient in your method. Shame about the rain putting damper on things. I'd love to know how you got started and your do's and don'ts your learnt over the years. I'm considering doing the same here in the UK. Cheers for everything you mentionin your video's really gives a better understanding in e scrapping. 👍
i know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Flynn Blaine Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I'm surprised you cut the cord on the foot massager vs testing it to see if it worked plus the mixer thing, you left the thick aluminum parts for it on the tray next to it.Btw, the parts looked like a meat grinder. Trophies = brass plus .... you'd be surprised at how many ppl would buy old trophies. The older the better too... but they usually have brass plates and toppers... baseball, football, etc... metal. The older trophies go upwards 100k or more due to certain collections especially if from a certain club.
I'm always jealous watching your street scrapping. We don't have those many piles in the states, mostly around spring cleaning and evictions. Just an FYI, here in the states, your van brand new would be nearly $50k
I always watch your all videos since subscribed , It’s very informative for me I used running scrap metal business in Dubai Uae .. I want learn from you here how to start work like you Hope you will advise. Thanks
Hmmm... Not getting much , yet still leaves all sorts of general scrap behind ! I wish that I lived over there..... I'd just follow you around and pick up everything that you left behind ! lol.... ( U.K. scrapper here .) .
It sounds like your van door needs some lube on the hinges sounds a little bit dry and creeky like you was having trouble opening and shutting the door
lol ya pick up a fart size bit of alli but leave the feeder tray and mincer thats good solid alli in the pile of the mincer i was screaming ot its there Ben lol easy melt to make a few bars man lol its all trading stuff
from where did you begin all scraping like you go to schools or small busines and saing im scraper if you got any electronic you want to trow them give it to me ?
23:15 I think that thing's a meat grinder, and Ben left the attachments sitting on the table. (We who cook would be all OVER that thing if it works.) But anyway.... HEY! He's back! The street scrap is ON!
Good day Mate, I know you probably know this and left it behind on purpose, 6:14 that big white thing was a dehumidifier, I like picking those up, Nice and easy to take apart, there is a nice little radiator, a motor, a compressor in it and normal, a nice clean metal frame to hold it all together.I can't wait for winter to be over here and go scavenging the streets for odds and ends.
@@jxavier3876 panel is literally just a cover that slides off and in no way affects function of console. If it had any chance of working it likely won’t now after being thrown into a van like that. Even a spares PS4 console fetch $60+
i dunno that PS4 looked like the end result of a tempermental gamer that probably threw a tantrum and may have broken the hard drive already. Those units had crappy sata 2 tech, 2.5 inch laptop hard-drives with fragile glass platters in them (they were meant to be sata 3 drives when they first came out but sony did a deal with a company trying to ditch their excess stock of outdates drives).my advice to anyone out there If you wanna get the most out of PS4 gaming invest in a 2TB Solid State Hard-drive especially if you have a large library of games.
@@JDeWittDIY I was referring to some of the items that may be able to.be repaired and sold I used to fix radios and stereos but if no cord I'd pass by the cords can cost more then main components of some !!
did you ever start looking for windows instead cd's and dvd's they are worth a bit of money like windows 10 disk just alone by its self you can get upto $80 ausd the older the dis the price slowly drop. as long as they have no scratches also usb sticks and find the right bulk buyer you can get shitloads more dosh but if they are the silver alloy win 8 -10 install you will be looking again lots of cash per stick $80 to $350 a stick
not as often as us old school collectors would like. most vintage consoles end up in the ebay market and finding them at local markets or garage sales is even more extremely scarce nowadays. As for the ps4 ben found i'd dare say whoever owned it, threw a tantrum and broke it.
i just find it crazy that people can dumb everything like that?? where i live u have to bring everything to a container park and put all the materials in the right place to get recycled im totaly confused about what im see here
Woke up to rain, it rained all day non-stop here, and still raining into the overnight. Still coming down now. Full on rain days then I don't even consider street bin container deposit runs. That takes care of itself, with such conditions, at least in my book.
Great to see your mate bring you good luck later in the scrap. All in all, a good day despite the rain and other scrappers on the street.
"The cordcutters didn't get to it......."LOL....you are the cordcutters!
yah just what i need a bit of Ben hope ya safe and well mate
I loved to see u do a steel scraping session fill your van write up!

Always a pleasure, Ben. Thank you.
Perfect timing for the lazy Sunday 🌟 👍
AGREED!
A cordless electric scissors may help you saving space for more items to pick and also for better organizing.
Good to see you are doing good

in the uk that PlayStation 3 drum kit at the start of video goes for £150
expensive drum set just snipping wires off without any selling points!!!!!!

I can’t believe how much metal you didn’t pick up wheel chair , Ariel, folding chairs, bbq…….
i found 4 old computers + 2 monitors today!
I would have bring the kompressor. You should always bring some elastic straps,i do that,to tir down stuff i dont wanna destroy or tip ower
I found a lot of nice things, but some guy had already cut the cords off
I notice 90% of the houses all have fences in front of them
thanks man
Nice find right away. The ps2 guitar hero Dongle may be work 50$ or more.
love it can u do more scrap to eat vids
23:00 find is actually a meat grinder. That one looks like a 1.5 HP

Hey Ben!! If you cut the plugs off the cords when you find them would that save you processing later?? Just asking, Mate!

Too many people are watching your youtube channel and realising there's money in old PCs.
I'm curious what that ute was.
Whats an average pc worth in total after you have fully scrapped it out? When you spot a pc do think "ah look a $20 bill" or "ah look a $10 bill"?
awesome i bet your street scrap gives you the same feeling like I had when I went to woods and hunt for shroomies 👍😀👍
Now thats a channel id love to watch 😅
Here in the states...I always say, when everything is given to the lazy...nothing is appreciated. So many great things are discarded. SAD!
Rich people. 2000$ tv gets a scratch, throw it out get a new one
Bummer, you get these days dont ya. But just to get out an grab some fresh air is good
I would have taken all the wood furniture and had a big campfire
better look for some oil for the old door !!! :
I say you missed that brass unit rewind you will see it
Why cut the cord off the compressor. Savage
Hi Ben, Why do you collect the game consuls?, regards from Amsterdam
I just like to keep them

The drum set in the uk is worth about £80
Time for new van with your fun money
No entiendo el ingles, pero porque no recoges lavadora, compresor, microonda solo cosas pequeñas, de venezuela que dios te bendiga.
It always baffles me when people throw out trophies. Like, didn't they work hard to earn those?
23:15 I think that thing's a meat grinder, and Ben left the attachments sitting on the table. (We who cook would be all OVER that thing if it works.) But anyway.... HEY! He's back! The street scrap is ON!
Exactly why this channel makes no fucking sense.
Sweet video every thing you picked up was good value love the vintage pc two thumbs keep on having fun
cutting off cords really without any thought to so if anything works!!!!!!

Why are you not pick up to the scrap metal i see to your video many scrap metal you not pick up
