I have an awkward problem. Over the past few years, I've somehow managed to rescue some 25+ pigeons, either damaged, sick or babies. Most are not strong fliers but many can manage getting into elevated boxes. Some will always be ground hoppers tho. I like the boxes with vertical dowels. Even though I'm discouraging them from having more babies by replacing eggs with fake ones, I still want to give the mated couples the feeling of privacy and safety...
