i like how Andrew started his sauces by being like "well a fast-food chain wouldn't make realy honey mustard" and ended them by making ketchup from scratch.
I do wish he'd gone a little deeper with the honey mustard. Honey mustard fascinates me because (at so many places) neither honey nor mustard are that high on the ingredient list. Some are basically yellow sugar, others are mostly mayonnaise.

The Cajun mayo was one of the only times I’ve seen a creator do Cajun cuisine right. Used the trinity along with the accouterments (garlic, pepper corns, etc.) and then didn’t just load it with cayenne pepper, but actually fitted the spice to the flavor with the jalapeño. I love when people realize that Cajun doesn’t automatically equal spice, but the amalgamation of Southern, African, and Caribbean flavors assembled in a French method.
Fun fact they used frosting for the honey mustard in the show for consistency purposes and the actor who plays schuler actually did take a bite of it (I assume he had a bucket but dedicated nonetheless)
This scene is incredibly funny and memorable and this cooking video is much more about the sauces but I refuse to believe “tater tots from” would ever be followed by anything but “Napoleon Dynamite” so I’m glad Andy knew to fix it halfway through

The fact that the sole purpose of this channel is to be experimental with cooking following trends like shows and movies but being serious enough to showcase budget meals or quick recipes really proves that it doesn't take much to gain an enormous subscriber count. You simply just need to be genuine. Love it. Been watching this channel since covid for inspiration and glad I started watching when I did.

I love tater tots and have always thought about making them from scratch but it never seemed worth the hassle. Still doesn't seem worth the hassle, but seeing someone else do it was still cool.
I love how most of the recipes are like "ketchup and corn syrup"... and the cajun mayo is super-gourmet. (Most cajun mayo I've seen is just mayo our of the jar plus a little pre-mixed cajun spice.) And then the ketchup! (Try making some with tamarind... or with curry. There are so many great variations.)
I have made so many of your recipes over the years (your channel is actually where I learned to make eggs benedict among many many other things) so I just want to thank YOU.

another way to get smoke flavor (with something you don't mind being a little spicy) is to use the adobo sauce from a can of chipotle in adobo. it's like 75% smoke 20% umami 5% heat, it's great

Where do you buy high fructose corn syrup? It's remarkably hard to find. Every store sells corn glucose syrup (Karo) but the fructose kind is apparently only sold to big companies.
Watch the show if you got the time. It is the best show made imo. If you're not really into the crimelord genre then its understandable if you don't like the show but give it a try nonetheless. A word of advice, you have to push through the first 4 episodes. Anything after the first season is highly addictive. Fourth season is a little more conserved and slow paced but it all blows up in your face in the fifth season.

Where do you buy high fructose corn syrup? It's remarkably hard to find. Every store sells corn glucose syrup (Karo) but the fructose kind is apparently only sold to big companies.

Still haven't watched Breaking Bad.
Watch the show if you got the time. It is the best show made imo. If you're not really into the crimelord genre then its understandable if you don't like the show but give it a try nonetheless. A word of advice, you have to push through the first 4 episodes. Anything after the first season is highly addictive. Fourth season is a little more conserved and slow paced but it all blows up in your face in the fifth season.
