I’m genuinely shocked how many Star Wars fans have never played this game. I got it YEARS ago in Star Wars bundle pack for PC. RC, The OG battlefront, Dark Force game, Star Wars galaxies, and Jedi knight Jedi academy all in one bundle. Great times
The parts where you are on Kamino (excluding the Training Part) is what I call an in-game cutscene. Basically you still have control of the main character but you see other things move the way it is supposed to move.
I’d love a remake where each of the teammates actually has a speciality because they’re portrayed as having different specialities but they all end up working the same in game. I’d give each of them bonuses on different locations: Delta 62 (Scorch): he’s the explosives expert so setting explosives takes less time than the others (let’s say 7 seconds as opposed to 10 seconds) and he reloads faster on anti armour emplacements. Delta 40 (Fixer): he’s shown as sort of a computer expert so he should be quicker at slicing consoles than his brothers (again maybe 7 seconds) and being the tech guy he should use a variety of grenades when on a grenadier emplacement (Scorch and Sev use thermals because scorch likes booms and Sev just goes for them cos they’re basic) Delta 07 (Sev): the sniper. In any sniper position He. Is. King. Shooting quicker and doing slightly more damage because he knows all the weak spots on enemies. Also is better on any turret emplacement due to the fact he’s studied extensively on how to use anything to kill anyone. Being commandos I’d create the option for them to either follow order 66 (they infiltrate the bowels of the Jedi temple after the 501st went through it and take out any stragglers and reactivated training droids in order to retrieve something for the emperor. Follow that with some anti rebel assassination missions.) or they go against the order (escape the clones who have turned on them and start fighting the fledgling empire)
I just recently played through it, got it free off the internet 😂. I was so impressed by the mechanics of the game and the squad orders as well as the weapon configurations and even the night vision mode on the visor haha. It was all around really awesome playing the game from the FPS the whole time. And I feel the same way, the game was definitely harder on the Venator than it was on Kashyyyk at the end. Also I know what you meant by cut scenes, but there are little cut scenes throughout like when you're on the LAAT or something and getting briefed. However, you still have control of your character and can look around during these, which in my opinion makes it even more immersive. All around an underrated game and it definitely deserves a play through if you haven't.
I really appreciate that you held out the big spoilers for the people haven't played the game yet. Honestly this game was the start of the redemption arc for the prequels everything about this game is amazing and at least on PC the controls have aged flawlessly.

The squad dynamics, the brotherhood, the story, the gameplay. I’d like to see a sequel and have the commandos find their brother, Sev. Hope the game gets so much praise that current developers will want to make a sequel.
I'm addicted to it, I have it on pc, xbox 360 and now ps4 and I just got past the ghost ship arc on hard. I love this game and I hope there might be a 4P online co op of this or something in the future cuz god damn I love this game

I only wished delta squad would disobey order 66 I would love a game or a spin off show for them explaining what they are doing after clone wars But for now they executed order 66 canonly so that probebly will never happen

This game was truly ahead of its time, and it sucks it didn’t get the love it should have gotten. But today, it’s loved by so many, and it’s still the game I loved from 2005 to 2021. I hope they do a remaster or sequel, or sod it….both.
Fun fact: The pistol side arm actually deals more damage per shot than the automatic rifle mode of the main weapon. This makes it excellent against standard B1 Battledroids without losing ammo. B1 generally only require two shots to be killed with pistol. 1 on headshot. Deals decent damage to smaller trandoshans on headshots as well, but by that point the pure rate of fire of the assault rifle is better in terms of DPS.
My hope with bad batch coming out in may, is that we will get a RC reboot with the bad batch characters and since the bad batch series will take place after 66. We may finally get sequel
I have completed the 2 first missions and pretty mutch the half third and it is a grind man! But its fun, i dont know when i am going to complet the game! Good luck everybody!!

There was a game called freedom fighters with squad mechanics. The OG Star wars battlefront 2 had some squad mechanics, you could order 3 AI players to follow and cover you. Halo 5 campaign has squad mechanics. The battlefield games have squad mechanics

When it came out I got the guide for the game. Even though I never owned an xbox myself I finally was able to use that guide now that its released. Also, the books are worth a read as well. Both basically left shit hanging though..
I loved this game. When I first saw the trailer I was sold and then I loved this game as a kid but I never beat it because I ran out of ammo too much and had a hard time to fight the super battle druids But otherwise I loved it
Bro the multiplayer is really what made this game so popular. It was so good and I have yet to find a multiplayer shooter that comes even close. The single player is still great too, but that's not what got this game it's cult following
