My favorite part about the first LEGO Star Wars game was Yoda's hover chair that would appear whenever you jumped once. Then it hasn't appeared in any LSW game since...
It's nice to see someone talking about the original Lego Star Wars instead of just the Complete Saga. Fun fact that most don't know, TT changed the Battle Above Coruscant level in Complete Saga. They added more check points (I think there were only 2 originally) and made it so the red targets stayed shot down after you died. It doesn't sound like much, but it made the level so much easier.

@@Sebulba2000 lucky you. Don't update! 8, 10 and 11 break so many old games
@@chloeryanvtuber yep, that's one of the reasons I still use it
Am I the only one that's too gen z to even know of this game's existence until now? I just found out about it because of the may 4th sale and realized there was no Lego Star Wars I. The game isn't on steam or xbox series tho :(
The best way to play it now is to have an original console like a GameCube, Original Xbox, or PS2. It will also play on Xbox 360. I'm sure it can be emulated on PC too.
I’d recommend to go for the PC version of the game, if you can get it to run on modern Windows it’s by far the best looking version of the game. It was only released on disk tho as far as I know so you need to find a CD rip of it.
Too Gen Z? Tf? I was maybe like 4 when this one came out. and Complete Saga came out not long after. Besides there was Lego Star Wars 3, where did you think the 3 came from? There were two more that came before it obviously.
@@ackepace the PS2 had better sound though. The other ports have this weird pitch when chars get hit or die.
@@LycheeLele-mh2ku yeah that's fair enough, I guess it's a pick your poison scenario. I personally think the PC version is still worth just because of the crisp visuals.
Thankfully emulation makes this game very easily accessible on pc
I don't emulate but glad you're able to play it!
This one was the best. They decided to make a kid game series so tedious for no reason.
i don’t know if i have completed the game, beacuse it only shows how many studs you have.
You don't need a percentage counter to know whether you've completed a game ;)
could this be a series?
Maybe. Do you want it to be?
@@QuickBrickGames yeah I enjoyed the longer form style would love to see it done for other classic Lego games
@@QuickBrickGames Yes, please! I'm a sucker for those retrospective videos. I'd gladly see you cover all the LEGO games
The only negative thing about the game is that dreaded pod race map 💀
Haha. It's still a classic level though!
The Complete Saga made that level too easy without that timer. I liked how challenging the original LSW level was with its controls and timer. Makes beating it much more satisfying. It was a hard level playing as a kid, but when I first beaten it, I felt like the king of games that day lmao
Quick Brick Games Love you Video please make this kinda Videos for every Lego game and Lego Star wars games please
Thanks! We'll see how this one does.
definitely the better game out of lego star wars 2 and TCS. it's clunky, it's buggy. but i love it so much
Same!

Top what?
@@QuickBrickGames Up top as in high five maybe?
Hello does anyone know the code for invincibility on Lego star wars 2 for the ps2 please???? Many thanks
I don't know if there is one.
🤩
Gunship calvery is the worst mission in both lego Star Wars the complete saga and lego Star Wars the video game too.
I kinda hate the complete saga
😡how dare you
I kinda hate you
Whaat?!
Sorry
