I really enjoy your videos, keep up great work! As Tim said there's always something to clean up in farm, I'm sure there always something to repair as well - how about a video of the repairs done at the farm? No need to show how each bolt is turning, but more generally and not limited to tractors, there must be all kind of augers and machines failing or under maintenance. That would be interesting for all us techical guys.
Tim I agree with you being back the dial not everything needs to be digital. I can also feel your pain as I am a father of three daughters - best thing that ever happened to me.
We had an unusually wet February, exceptionally dry march April may , wet June and start to July and now it's drying out a bit, lots of weather records getting broken. Your situation looks unusually dry at the moment, but you never know what's next. Good to see more of the farm. Cheers👍

We're north of the border in Ontario our slogan is "farmers feed cities" but no one ever ask us farms just how much we have invested on farm to feed cities.....great video love em keep them coming. Your a brave girl running the Deere MoCo at road speed . They are very squirrley at hi speeds . Especially the older 4995’s .I am the hay equipment mechanic at a central Md Deere dealer. I love watching your videos 🙂
V interesting to see how you guys do it over there, we only use forage harvesters on grass and maize silage or whole crop in UK. Hay is never chopped here just baled, that looked green but I guess had high dry matter if you call hay. Also interesting that your fields are all like rectangular plots there...

Hi Tim, I saw on one of doc Pol episodes where they take milk samples and cow poop and have it analyzed for protein and minerals, etc. then your vet recommends the recipe for feed mix to assure the herd is getting the perfect diet. Does that sound right? I wonder if you do this. Claudia you rock!!

But then instead of a 20 dollar cable that went bad , now on top of the over pricing they can get $500 for the new control panel that was built in China and only cost them $20 dollars. As a European i dont understand the using of those haybins , i mean one tractor with a tripple mower cuts far more then two bins .What is the reason American Farmers like the bins so much.You will never see a bin in europ. Greetings from east frisia
You can get some information from Mr. Google. "Haybine vs. mower", but it's mostly because of the reduced drying time and haybines crimp and condition the hay. Mowing is fine if you're not in a hurry and don't need to worry about rain.
@@xSCHEF if you can bale the day of - or the day after - cutting with one of those, more power to you. Maybe your weather and dry down time is different there.
