-As a passionate fan of BTS myself, I couldn't resist watching xCeleste's video to react to the ups and downs that BTS faced throughout their career. This video promises to take us on an emotional rollercoaster, showcasing the struggles, setbacks, and triumphs that have shaped the members into the extraordinary artists they are today.

V's grandmother was like his real mom. He was really close to her. She took care of him his whole life since he was a baby. V's parents were migrant farmers and gone all week. They would only see V on the weekends. So when he made that announcement, it was like announcing his mom had died. It was so very sad!

Plus they were on tour overseas and he could not even be there with his family for her memorial stuff.
The only reason he talked about it was because fans noticed he was struggling with something recently at that time and many had been asking what was wrong and if he was ok. So he was addressing fans concerns and he just asked them for their thoughts or prayers for his grandma.

BTS are big friends with Halsey, Steve Aoka, Anderson Pakk and Christ Martin and the rest of Coldplay. They knew who their friends are in the industry. They learnt the hard way. The one's that are their friends are the one's who have stood up for BTS.

A lot of it was other entertainment companies and fans of other groups realizing that BTS, from a small unknown company, was gaining traction in a way that threatened the entire structure of things in the Korean entertainment industry. They made it big and gained attention organically outside of the stereotypical music show/variety show hierarchy and that undermined the entire preconceived structure previously pushed by the big three companies. The plagiarism allegations and the negative news stories were all an attempt to make BTS look bad to the general public (meanwhile now, BTS are Korea’s sweethearts). That’s why we say karma is an army. Every person and organization that has tried to pull BTS down has not only failed but BTS has proven them wrong and then some. Big hit/hybe is now more powerful than all three of the big three companies combined, they’re breaking records that anti-fans laughed at them for attempting and selling out stadiums full of fans when anti-fans claim the army fandom is full of bots.

I think that because they grew organically instead of using the industry machine really shocked and offended the "puppet masters" that were not needed just like one of the analysts stated that they basically were obsolete to success for BTS. Oh, and I just read another's comment basically saying the same lol. Try not to be too upset and stressed with this whole situation as we ARMY have got BTS's back and are a very strong force to be reckoned with. I do hate to revisit these hardships and see the pain they went through, because it does hurt my heart a lot. Seeing the lack of mental health care in South Korea and the number of idols that struggle and sometimes lose that battle, I am so glad that BTS is fighting this battle head on with their music and humanitarianism.

These kpop groups wanted to be exempted from military duty using BTS as examples when BTS themselves never asked for it. When the law was modified to allow artists who earned the SK Hwagwan Orders of Cultural Merit to postpone their service till age 30, only BTS qualified for that because they were given the award. In fact, people started calling it the BTS Law. Mind you, BTS could have used this requirement to postpone service but instead, they announced that they would all do military service, ending all speculation and talk.

@@MasterGo89 I would like to add on that this Busan concert was FREE to approx 50k ppl. This concert was hosted by the Korean government as a way of trying to get the bid for the world expo and asked BTS to do the concert. BTS wanting to do something for their country and fans agreed to do it. Then just ONE month before the concert, the government said “oops, we can’t pay for it, u guys pay for it”. So BTS and Hybe paid for the FREE concert after all the sponsors. And 2 days later announced they’ll enlist. Can you believe the government for doing that?!?! I was listening to BTS since Feb 2022, but after this incident in Oct 2022 solidified my entry into the Army. They are all class and total bosses.
I actually thought about attending this concert, but a free concert to 50k ppl sounded dangerous. The original venue also only had one entrance/exit. So I passed. But army was so well behaved. As much as I hate hearing what they've gone through it's also a huge and important part of their story and goes a long way to explaining their close relationship with ARMY so I'm really glad you watched this.
I know you kind of fell into Boracity Magazine's videos in a bad way but I highly recommend the ones she's made about BTS vs different entities in the music industry, like BTS vs radio or BTS vs Spotify. It'll give you a deeper insight into some of the issues mentioned here as well as the music industry as a whole. They're really really good.

It’s important to keep the timeline in mind. During the first years of BTS, they were the newcomers. Those antis are from the other fandoms, more established and popular groups. BTS was the first group to win grand prizes outside of the “Big 3” kpop companies who always win. So they received a lot of hate.
Also, in Korean culture, a person’s age and the length of time in the industry is part of their heirarchy. That’s why older members are addressed as Hyungs, not just by first names. And people who started work before you are considered sunbae or sunbae-nim (which is what Suga called G dragon when G dragon was asking about the label on his hoody). You regard them as your superiors. So BTS was often looked down upon during those early years, not to mention Bighit had no clout. But all of these things put together has made them work harder and made them who they are now. Thank goodness they had the right mindset and the right conviction. 🙏🏼

38:25 The thing is (if I remember correctly) BTS are the youngest people to ever get this award, everyone else was over 30, so them saying other artists need to get at least recommend for it before they turn 30 was a huge slap in their faces. Also these other agencies used BTS as example for exemption/postponement and with that acknowledged their success. But when this new "BTS law" was introduces they whined because their own artists aren't even remotely close to have what BTS has so there is no way they would get exempted.

When he was kneeling on the ground, they literally took his name holder off of the area where everyone was sitting and placed it far away and on the ground...then they were rude about the food, but in Korean culture as one of the youngest there he can't speak out or defend himself. So, just to explain how the industry used to work. There was 3 major companies, this 3 companies rules everything, airtime, awards, screening time and even news released. The 3 Companies were JYP, SM and YG. NO one stood a chance against their groups ( don’t get me wrong the groups are good but that’s not the point). When BTS began to get attention they broke all the rules, they didn’t had screentime, they went to youtube, didn’t got to the news, armys began to spread all on twitter, the rules change, the rules of HOW you can achieve things. Like this companies and tv stations lost a lot of power since BTS only used free plataforms like Social Midia and TH-cam. The industry lost power, all because 7 boys and ARMY. Like Right now a lot of small artists from small companies are rising trough success because of BTS, cause they changed the rules of the game. That’s why the people in power tried SO hard to end BTS. And the fans of these artists are just jealous that no one can reach their level of success! I hope that this can clarify some of your doubts. Little BTS from a small no-name label was beating these giant music companies at their own game, and it pissed a LOT of people off. Them having a chokehold on all the best talent is what made them their money. If these trainees could make it big without them….well, that meant war. They didn’t want BTS to succeed, and I’m sure they did everything in their power to stop them. And I can imagine other idols looking at BTS doing their own thing, speaking their truths when they couldn’t added a whole lot of petty jealousy to the pot as well.

You know, when other people or fandom from other groups accuse Army of being crazy, toxic and obsessively protective with the guys, it's because they don't know everything they've been through, if, BTS has been through a lot and fortunately their humility, humanity, great heart and hard work and effort has paid off, Army will always be. to protect them, but also to follow their good example. We are family and we will protect and support them to the end.

I think ch 3 is emotional, not b/c of any specific BTS hardships but more the Korean context and content of their music.
RoB does get into some of the hardships, but it's glossed over...and I like this video but I think there could be more specific examples used and names named...there are 2 shorter vids that I've recommended a couple times that I really like. "The Mistreatment of BTS" by affectaed and "Why is BTS Treated Unfair in Korea" by Korea Crush to see how they were treated not just by underground rappers but by the music/media industry as well.

When I watched the videos talking about the hardships and accusations of BTS, I was not sure the credibility of some content. But because of BTS, I started to read more news about K-pop groups, I find the contents are likely to be true. For example, about the plagiarism, a girl kgroup called “fifty-fifty” have a hit song in the us market called “Cupid.” It was assumed for plagiarism from a Turkish singer’s 2017 song "Sen Askimizdan". Although the company denied the plagiarism and claimed that the original composer of Cupid never heard of the Turkish singer’s work. However, if you compare both songs, the choruses from both songs are so similar (I am a musician and it is really… 😅).
My point is not to argue if the girl group copied other people’s work or not. Think about if this situation had happened to BTS, it would run viral!!!! But the Korean industry and fans of other fandoms have been quiet about the issue of the girl group. 🙃🙃🙃

Hello! Austrian Army here! The thing with the German radio host: it was a collective effort from (generally) German speaking Army over multiple countries (Austria included) to hold that guy accountable, so I know quite a bit about it. I saw the clip that an Army recorded about the things he said and they were vile. What was even worse, German is often considered an aggressive language by people who don't speak it. It obviously isn't for native speakers, but the way that guy talked about BTS was so fucking aggressive, the tone he used felt like pure hatred and violence. It was really horrible and I don't think non-native speakers truly understand how bad it was. The radio station in question was also state-funded, so the "reason" of it being "just his opinion/a joke" was a shitty one as well because you can't just go around spewing racism on a basically publicly funded radio station. (I don't know if that made sense but basically, a person in the public domain, who's influencing a lot of people, should watch what they are saying, regardless of their opinion.) Although the guy eventually "lost" his show, he sadly was put on a different/smaller show/program after his "mental health break". But luckily I haven't heard much of him in the past years. It was a real shit-show, not gonna lie.

      @MasterGo89  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

WOW! Thank you so much for breaking this down further for me! I understand the whole state funded radio stations, we actually have them here in Canada also. So to think about one of those stations saying the shit this guy was saying would not go over well at all! What a creep! Im sure he talks within his little bubbles but atleast its not across the nation such as this!
Its so great getting a perspective from another country. Sometimes like you said, we can only see so much, but a lot of tone and situation at the time gets lost on people! You are a hero for letting us in on this! 💜💜💜

Remember in Taylors guide the ages stated were Korean ages who called you 1 year old at birth. Every year older at New year even if your birthday is not to the end of december. So RM was only 17 when he first joined Big Hit. He was still a teenager when a made a leader. His character was to feel responsibility deeply. In that interview about the rappers he called himself a kid ...he was.... given interviews have told us how little sleep many of the members were getting. You can pretty much guarantee most of them have some degree of PTSD. Then factor in Jin complaining that they had to remove the rug from their bedroom floor because Jungkook kept coming in the middle of the night and sleeping on it but he snored. JK left home to sleep in the one bedroom with the group as a 14 year old still going through puberty. Can you imagine the effect death threats aimed at his loved members had on him. I am sure they tried to keep it from him but its a digital age. Even now he is one of the members who has problems sleeping alone. I am sure Bam helps. All this to a group only Jin has started College and Suga had been independent from a young age. The rest are kids. If you can count a young college student an adult.

Never underestimate the power of the BTS ARMY. We will and have done whatever it takes to make sure that our boys are treated fairly. We do it with integrity, knowledge and respect because, as I’ve said before, we would NEVER do anything that would negatively impact or disrespect BTS. They deserve our respect and doing or saying anything that would dishonor them is not what true ARMY’s would do. We are very loyal, kind, and forgiving because that’s one of the many things they have taught us. However, we are also fierce as fuck when anyone attacks our boys. But again, we do it with truth and respect. But we are fearless and not afraid of taking on the injustices thrown at these incredibly loving, caring and honest boys who love us as much as we love them. (God! They’re all almost 30 now but I can’t stop calling them my/our “boys”. I reckon it’s because I’m old as fuck, lol!) Oh yeah….anti’s is simply short for “anti-BTS” and they’re typically the fans of K-Pop artists or those who are jealous of BTS or even fearful of their success. A lot of labels now expect junior groups or trainees to be as good as or better than BTS. There’s a lot of suicides in the world of K-Pop. (BTS is so much more than an idol K-Pop group. They’re in a league of their own. I don’t think I’ll ever live to see the day where another group comes close to achieving all that BTS has done.) But for the record, most of the members of other groups look up to BTS and have as much respect for them as we do and even call themselves ARMY. It’s typically the record labels behind all the bullshit. Again, I could be wrong and if I am, AAAAAARRRRRMMMMY! Lol!

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Rosan(xCeleste) does a good job with this summary. She is a 2014 army. I hope she updates this video or does a part 2. Not pleasant info to hear but I don't want to run away from things that make BTS who they are today. I was really taken aback by 1st listen/watch as baby army. And u know the USA media do the same thing. They barely talk about BTS. They make u think oh this music is for young girls. This will not be my thing. But that is so wrong. I ignored BTS for years. It makes no sense. I love anime and am a big otaku. I like Asian fashion and food. Why would i ignore BTS? I am still mystified years later. Appreciate your honesty. Liked your passion too. Really happy to be your sub. Love hearing ur thoughts. A few months ago i watched the full video of that doc explaining BTS and the white paper project. Army is truly amazing. People also have to realise that with the misogynistic lyrics, the group were still literal kids.... with little or no experience in such issues... I think at the time RM was like 20 (if you subtract the 2yr Korean age ) The crap hasn't ended even yet... Billboard now want to make a separate category for Kpop groups... just so a Western Artist can win the grand prize... like the Grammy's, BTS don't need them.. Army will make sure that the guys are well taken care of now and in the future.... and the guys will give back to us as always... that's what it's about for Army.... The most difficult issue for me with the other fandoms giving BTS hate is that the groups are actually all friends.. they support each other and congratulate each others accomplishments... it would be nice if the fandoms could do the same....

    • @BrilliantHuman
      @BrilliantHuman ปีที่แล้ว +5

But the thing is they weren't misogynistic. The translations sucked. Using the phrase "do 'em" when it should have been solve or figure them out. Or when mentioning loving their front and their back, in Korean that doesn't mean specific body parts, it's just literally the front of your body and the back...they were just saying I love everything about you. Suga even said, I think during his YT review/unboxing of Dark & Wild, that they were really careful of their words, and what gets lost in translation completely is how tongue-in-cheek it is and is really clowning on the guys. The controversary started almost a year after their song was released, and just happened to be made a big deal when someone else (can't remember who, but there is a Korean reactor that goes by OG something mentioned this in a recent Rise of Bangtan reaction) was being called out for actual problematic lyrics....and apparently people in Korea were even confused why Bangtan was involved.

The other thing is the disrespect from other artists ( the make up issue every singer, actor any one on TV all have to use and wear make up) all that showed to me was that person was jealous and not very informed about how make up is use for the cameras. Here’s my 2 cents worth of speculation re BTS’ surprising “forgiveness” towards JSH (the comedian disparaging young JK on Flower Crew show):-
    (1) The innate maturity & strength of character allow BTS to open their hearts & show grace towards someone who wronged them in the past but they believe genuinely remorseful since.
    (2) Their respect & esteem for YJS (SK’s beloved national MC) who has a long history of rescuing, motivating, protecting & supporting struggling fellow artists. He do so deliberately (eg enlisting ppl like JSH as co-hosts on his variety shows), less openly (eg having RM & BTS guest on 1 of his most famous shows “Running Man“ even back in their earlier days) and subtly (for artists unjustly blacklisted on broadcast tv) by posting associated images in background of his shows. Many artist careers were either saved or helped because of his immense kindness.
Also makes me wonder about JSH’s apology (if any) & extent of YJS’s mediatory role in resolution of this controversy. Publicly it seems that BTS has forgiven JSH and moved on. The boys deeply respect YJS and I think this may explain their conciliation.

31:22 YES! Exactly THAT! Especially when it comes to american media. They will never treat BTS like the biggest artist in the world bc it doesn't benifit them. American labels, media, basically the entire entertainement industry in the US can't make money from BTS's success, so they downplay their achievements and try to sabotage their careers.

want to also add that someone said "its just the fandoms not the groups the groups are friends with bts" this is not true and bts have said they dont have many idol friends as recent as last year. many of the groups whos fandoms are mentioned in this video were being nice and friendly in front of cameras and audiences but we do not know if theyre really friends outside of a work environment also when bts got big in 2016 those same groups stopped publicly hanging with them at award shows. my example is theres a member of a group named seventeen the member is named mingyu hes known as jungkooks friend and jungkook and mingyu have been hanging out since 2016 both in work settings and outside work settings so publicly in award shows/events and on private events like parties, movies, golfing, eating at restaurant or one of their houses etc and they posted these on their personal social medias most recently jungkook celebrated mingyus birthday and mingyu posted it on his instagram. but the idols people are saying are friends with bts the ones whos fandoms are mentioned in this video only ever said hello like a bow or wave or maybe a hug at a award show but were never seen outside the way mingyu was seen with jungkook. sure maybe they kept their friendship private thats a possibility but its only a guess. the fact that they stopped even politely saying hello to bts once bts got big in 2016 also said shady things when bts won awards and bts saying they dont have many friends and the friends they do have theyve shown on their social medias proves that most likely those idols are not friends with bts and bts also shaded many people in their songs and lyrics example their song We On jhope says "2cool 4 skool promotions received standing ovations heres to all the kids who smirked at us" this is him describing how when they got a little success for their first album other groups were smirking at them in a mocking way. many of the groups around during that time are the ones people are saying are "bts friends" i think people are confusing bts being polite due to professionalism as well as culture and mistaking that for friendship cause bts clearly states otherwise. also in jhopes song hangsang he says "no one was on our sides everyone was a enemy" whenever people say anything to you about bts ask for a source because sometimes its false narratives spread by people who never listen to what bts actually says and makes up their own version of it.

like someone pointed out videos like this just summarize and sometimes gloss over things so its a great starting point but truthfully you may never fully understand the past hardships if you werent there but even though youd like to and i do encourage you to continue to learn about the hardships be grateful you missed so many bad parts. ill clue you in on more details regarding the t shirt incident. all death threats should be taken serious which they were but the ones that are made by antis are usually bluffs made by kids and just overall people who want internet attention. however the attacks by the conservatives in japan were very real threats and bts were terrified to go to japan for their concerts that were already scheduled. japanese armys tried to tell bts to not come to japan for their safety and many japanese armys were threatened by their own people for betraying them because they support bts. international armys were terrified because we mostly didnt understand what was happening which is why the white paper project was made to help us understand and to make media stop spreading false information. anyways the threats were horrible and when bts arrived to japan, japanese armys showed up at the airport which is something they dont do as its just not a thing in japan to go to the airport to see celebrities but japanese armys showed up and silently supported bts as they walked through the airport letting them know armys were still there and japanese armys said you could see how terrified bts were but the relief that they still had people who care about them was very clear on their faces as well. that month is now called November 2018 its one of the hardest times for bts and army and hopefully it will keep that title. i dont wish anything like this on any other group but i cant say i dont hate kpop stans because the reason the t shirt spread to japan is cause kpop stans of other groups purposely sent it to known conservatives in japan. these conservatives are known as people who want koreans to go extinct there are hate groups in japan that want to exterminate koreans and kpop fans people who support other korean people decided they hate a group so much theyd subject them to hate from people who want them dead and arent bluffing about it. i myself casually listen to other kpop groups im not a dedicated fan like i am with bts but i can never involve myself with those fandoms after the horrible stuff theyve done to bts and armys. like some of them even go so far as to harm armys in real life ive seen a army get thrown in a trash can by kpop stans ive seen a army be followed and harassed by kpop stans and one of the most disgusting is one of the victims of uvalde shooting was a army and when her family posted to let armys know she was a army if we wanted to pay respects and if we could help them pay to lay her to rest kpop stans attacked her family online and said "one less army in the world" those are just the main ones that come to mind but from when i became a army in feb 2018 to now ive seen so much shit from kpop stans, media, industry etc that its why i dont fault some armys for being negative or cautious or rude sometimes some people just wont ever understand why army is the way we are they hear the reputation and never ask why or what caused it. also most of the things people say about army are lies and are things kpop stans have done that armys had no part in some kpop stans even create fake army accounts to set army up to get hate from the general public or other fandoms of western artists. sorry for the rant this video always triggers so many bad memories but i would never stop being a army and if i could go back id still become a army because so much good and great memories are also there and it outweighs the bad every time. :)

Oh wow... Thank you SO much for your breakdown here. You worked really hard on it and I really respect this! You outline so much of the hardship here. I fully understand the issues with these far right groups in Japan. they are super violent even to there own people. They wish for a time like WW2. Im super interested into breaking into the white papers but I will wait a bit for that. I have seen and done alot of my own research into these issues and its very real. What sucks is this is all political and it takes away from the core reason we are all here... The music. Im glad that ARMY's are out here fighting the good fight. Idk if it will ever be over.. but as long as we support and spread the word we end up doing our own part. Thats what I want this channel to be about. Not all about the issues, but celebrate the accomplishments :)

Just to clarify what XCELESTE said about the Daesang for Seoul Music Award... There was only one Daesang or Grand Prize for 29 years which is for Physical Album only but in 2020, they added another Daesang for Digital Music. BTS won the Daesang for Physical Album. They should have also won the Daesang for Digital Music according to their stats but it was given to another someone else.

24:29 I think that the supposed plagiarism accusation came about because the MV for Blood Sweat and Tears took inspiration from a French artist for one of the scenes. BigHit and the french artist talked it out and everything was fine in the end. Also, tbh, I saw an article where the french artist said it was an honor that his photographs were still inspiring people after 40 years so take that as you will lol. People just want to find any tiny little thing to make BTS look bad when tbh after seeing all the crap I've seen kpop idols do over the last 20 years? BTS has yet to do anything as bad. And anything they have done wrong, they've acknowledged and apologized and learned from. Not the same can be said about the majority of the industry who don't even acknowledge their wrongs.

I would love to hear what your friends think about your BTS journey. I’m trying to spread the BTS message and love to my friends and it’s so hard! It’s not that they are prejudice against Asians or whatever but that they are a boy band, but some are coming around. I had a friend who died a couple of months ago from pancreatic cancer and she loved butterflies and I was just trying to share with her their song Butterfly because it’s so beautiful, but she just wouldn’t give it a go, stuck in her Dave Matthews haze. I think she would have really like Butterfly if she gave it a chance. God bless her Soul, I love and miss you Miki!

So about the "m-i-s-o-g-y-n-i-s-t" lyrics & the controversy...let me clear the misunderstanding k-popies & some ARMYs hv..this was blown out of proportion by h@ters & Antis to create drama that time, which worked cuz k-popies & media latched on it...
*This is going to long a$$ comment*
Let's be real, War of Hormones wasn't misogynistic. It was just an honest song about what guys in that age range go through. They were straight up saying that they struggle with their hormones when they see a pretty girl, *and guess what? That's just being honest.* 👁️👄👁️ The title itself gives a clear idea to how they see it. A war. An internal conflict. And it's true to what guys in their late teens and early 20s go through. Bangtan has always been about talking about their experiences and being a voice of people their age.
The entire album, Dark & Wild, was really just about the turmoils of young adulthood. In the title of the album too, you can already tell what the sentiment was going to be. The first 3 albums spoke about school and issues of teens. And then from there, the darker days of coming to terms with adulthood. And then the HYYH series. Everything was thematic with stories they wanted to tell as they go through life.
Antis and fans of other groups were just grasping at straws to find something to shit on and unfortunately the media picked up on it and then some ARMY took it as truth and they themselves started talking as if the song was offensive. It isn't. We need to stop spreading this story as if BTS were misogynistic boys who needed to learn a lesson. Yes, Namjoon has learned a lot from the experience and has gone out of his way to speak to experts in women's studies, but I'm sure that whole ordeal also caused him unnecessary pain.
*Now, My personal take on this:* I don't see anything wrong with the lyrics of the song. All boys go through puberty and the things BTS sung in this are just reflective of their experience going through that phase in their lives. This is the reason I love them and their songs.. they didn't hide anything and covered all the feelings/thoughts of a person who is in his/her adolescent...one can see them growing up from then till today…I personally don't find the lyrics offensive and “most” Armys as well..as I agree they are expressing the struggles of dealing with hormonal changes in adolescence, and I'm sorry but sexual attraction is the number one pressing issue in most hormonal teens regardless of gender. There's a couple of issues I take with people who found this offensive. First, the double standard. You can't tell me young women were purely innocent in their thoughts and feelings as they watched these young men dance and sing, they just didn't make a song about it, at least not publicly. Secondly, the entire concept BigHit wanted from BTS is a representation of the youth culture and the issues youth deal with as seen and heard through the lyrics and music of BTS, and of course everyone has or will experience sexual attraction. Yes, they refer to see through clothing and high heels etc, but I've seen hundreds of posts referring to JK's abs, Jimin's body rolls and shoulder "accidents" Tae's tongue...you get the idea, and while many comments aren't necessarily teens it's not a problem. There can only be an issue if the lyrics were implying that I'm only attracted to girls who wear heels and sheer clothing, not sneakers and sweats. Anyone who has experienced adolescence knows however that if they're sexually attracted to someone the person could easily walk around in a potato sack and an adolescent would still be entranced.
A lot of people were offended by that line, "Girls are equations and us men just do them". Personally, I took it as "do them" meant they were puzzles to be solved, not a sexual act. RM was honestly shocked that people were offended by the lyrics and that they could be considered misogynistic. It was definitely a learning experience for him. He apologized and has since run his lyrics through a few professionals in women's studies before releasing a new song. They don't really release songs like this any more. *But to that a korean Army said translation in English were a bit off, which lead to misunderstandings and explained it saying : “I was kinda surprised it's translation was "do" because that part "do them" CAN actually sound offensive to some people, because the meaning of that word 'do' is not clear. However I can clearly say that it's not meant that way, and Korean version lyrics tell that. Words are more specific, and not controversial in Korean version lyrics, because it doesn't say 'do. That part in Korean is 여자들은 방정식 우리 남자들은 해 which says we men are 해 is a word for mathematics, and it means the 'answer/the final number'. So it means they solve. the complex minds of the girls. 해 DOES have the meaning of 'do' too, but its not appropriate to translate this part of the lyrics that way, because if u say it means "do them, it doesn't fit the sentence there. Since there's no Objectives for that Verb 'do' and that's... kinda awkward. plus. the context and meaning of the whole sentence is talking abt mathematics and Equations so what u said is true. It doesn't mean sexual way”* it's freaking mistranslation, if you don't belive me ask any korean, not only k-army but any Korean.. it was done to sabotage BTS's career..💀
BTS hv made few mistakes unknowingly early in their career and said things which can be considered offensive, as they were young but they hv re-educated themselves, apologized and never repeated the mistakes again..but I hv seen many k-popies and so called Multi Armys twisting many things because of that..take for example this song.. it's blown out of the proportion just to cause drama..and they were sadly successful in that..haters/antis tried every lil thing to bring BTS down & sabotage their career ngl..
*Now last but not the least* ..when this controversy happened, When joon apologized, The one thing that struck me about that was a part in the statement saying they took so long to apologize because they wanted to understand what exactly was the issue... And that part I definitely liked, I've never been a fan of blanket apologies.. BTS always try to understand the problem & try to improve..joon apologized because as the controversy was over "ppl were offended", he apologized for the ppl who were offended by this song, that doesn't mean the song was wrong, he was kind enough to take responsibility for it, ofc bighit & BTS took this issue (which was blown out of proportion) and apologized so that this unwanted drama surrounding the song would end (isn't that common sense) he sincerely apologised..but that doesn't mean that WOH is misogynist or objectifying women..like the title itself clears it out! "War of hormones" what ppl expected form this song to be like seriously?! Ppl who still want to believe that WOH is objectifying women are really dumb for me..like be practical..that's all i can say🤷🏻‍♀️
    *I'm out* 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️

They still receive death threats to this day. Their bodyguards and security have increased. If you see one of them in the airport on a solo project...they are surrounded by at least 8 Bodyguards. The airport situation is getting worse and worse. The fans have to stand behind a rope at first then for some reason at the last part they don't. The BTS guys are mobbed and cameras are in their face. Sometimes they can barely make it into a limo. They have had to enter and exit an airport privately before because of the major mob of people waiting for them. My opinion they need to Always do a private entrance and exit! It's so scary.

BTS has had to claw and fight for EVERYTHING they accomplished simply because they were looked down on by everyone. It’s absolutely sickening. They should be applauded for everything they’ve accomplished and continue to accomplish. They work hard and deserve every single one of their 700 awards. They became international, once every 4-5 generations mega superstars and they’ve shattered every record in the books and they did it on their own DESPITE the music industry and the obstacles they threw at BTS and everyone knows it. And ABSOLUTELY no one can take that away from them. BTS has an ARMY. The music industry needs BTS more than BTS needs them.

I’m watching this video (May, 2024) and, unfortunately, nothing has changed. Despite the fact that all members are now serving in the army, they were still embroiled in a scandal and accused of everything possible🤦🏻‍♀️ Again BTS is accused of plagiarism, sajaegi, and now (unthinkable!) of sectarianism. I'm sincerely sorry for the guys, their success haunts the haters. But they have us - ARMY, and we must support the guys. RM will especially need us now, because he has a new album coming out. Therefore, let's show the full power of ARMY in supporting our Leader.

The plagiarism accusations is weird to me because I think of plagiarism as something "written" but thinking that the "schoolboy" concept is plagiarism, is silly to me because practically every young artist has used it. Britney Spears etc. I don't get "hair color" being plagiarism at all. If they are upset at Jimin's orange hair, then somebody better contact Lucille Ball & Maureen O'Hara because they had that RED color before any Korean boyband. It's all just petty jealousy rearing its ugly head against people who out worked their favs. BTS worked 12 hour days and some were also going to school. They worked so hard to get where they are.

It's always sad to see what kind of hatred they had to deal with and unfortunately sometimes still do. Also how unfairly they were sometimes treated 🙁
I mean, it is definitely okay when someone don't like their music, it is a personal opinion like almost everything, but a personal opinion stops at that point when the people makes jokes about them, insult them, spread hate or generally act outrageously.
Anyone who has paid even a little attention to their Story knows that they got absolutely nothing for free, they worked their asses off for their success, which is why they f*ucking deserve it.
At the part about the meeting from the major companies and the KMA I really had to laugh because I knew what was coming. It's really amazing how bold some people can be. It annoyed me so much that at this time BTS was once again experiencing a wave of hate with no reason, even though neither BigHit nor BTS themselves asked for a postponement, but BTS was used as an excuse by other companies and then they were so bold to say it was an unfair decision. The only thing that's unfair about all of this is that BTS was used as an excuse, it was turned in such way that they didn't want to enlist, which is why they got hate again.
Even though it's sad that they're taking a break because of the military, I'm happy that they can do a few things of their own and have some time for themselves before everyone finally goes into the military.

also this is why most of BTS fans are not Kpop fans(other than the music is shit) Most of Kpop fans are united in their hatred of BTS and they spend more time bashing BTS than supporting their favs.
You dont do it anymore, but let me tell you , when I watched your earlier videos I was one BlackPink mention from you away from unsubbing and not watching you anymore. Thant´s just me of course.
pleaseeee do more Boracity videos who gives you so much context for all of this.

@@MasterGo89 It is completely natural to like other music, of course...IMHO it is just irritating when reactors do BTS and name drop 75 other Kpop acts. and vice versa. ARMYs mostly dont care about other kpop groups, and fans of other kpop groups hate everytihng BTS related. so no need to mention ´´the others´´ in either videos, you will not ingratiate yourself to either party . Saying this with all due respect and it is of course just my opinion. And you stopped doing it anyway, so it is a moot point. Good luck I really enjoy watching you , I am looking forward to the next Rise of Bangtan.

some humans have an urge to join the lowest echelon, to destroy things/others/groups. this is a very sad place for them to be. there is no joy in it. none whatsoever.
