Thanks for the video. Recently moved back in to my dad's, he's 76 and his garage is in a bit of a sorry state, so gonna use it as a little project to freshen it up for him and your video gave me lots of tips, cheers!

This video has inspired me! Im in the process of moving into a 1960s military married quarter and the garage in minging. Ive already taken all the random nails and screws out of the wall then i will paint it like this..

I have actually done the floor again, using oil based. But the garage floor has got problems.. e.g. water getting in at times. So I guess as cars get wet and put away wet at times, it's possible not suited. But oil is always better that's what I'm finding. Thanks

Hello mate, great job! Sorry if this is a silly question but what prep would you suggest before painting the walls with masonry paint? And what mix was the PVA? 50/50 with water? Thanks in advance 😊

Great videos. With the masonary paint, is it ok to seal with pva? Also, I’ve read on other sites that masonary paint has fungicides in it and can be a problem. I can’t find any specific interior masonary paint. Does it really matter? I’ve got a double garage with red brick and breeze block, I don’t think it’s single skinned but worried about any moisture ingress.
