@@richardclarke9966 We've shot a solid wooden fireplace this week using Frenchic Panther and it looks amazing, we'll have it edited and streaming by end of next week, please do keep an eye out for it
Wow. Just found this channel. The legend himself. Love your work craig. I'll have to subscribe and see if I can learn a thing or two, i'm currently decorating too so this is quite convenient. Top man
Hi Craig. I have really bad rust on bottom of bathroom radiator. Used sandpaper but hard to get rid of it. I have 2 indoor cats so can you recommend any safe rust removers with low VOC's please? Also the Zinsser bullseye contains biocides so i worry about using it as it isn't safe for my cats or myself to breathe in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ❤
I would have recommended using Zinsser bullseye, you may have to look further into a rust remover with low VOC, I would try phoning or visiting a local builders merchant or a supply chain, such as B&Q, wickes etc
Hi Craig. What a fantastic video. Subscribed! I'll be painting my first radiator with enamel paint over the summer. Please tell me the correct type of brush to use (bristle type), so to get a smooth finish. What brush did you use? Cheers.
It appears to be the following paint brush you used (?), but which size is it? Natural Bristle Round Paint Brush 1 pc - fi40 mm (or 50/55 mm) Is your paint brush only for chalk paint, or can it be used with enamel paint (which I've bought)? Thanks.
Hi David, thanks glad you liked the video and subscribed, we have lots of other painting videos be sure to check them out as prep is very important when painting. As for brushers, go to French's website they have just a small range of brushers all of which would work very well when painting radiators or similar items
Yes if it's the look you want, you could use Trim Paint and get it shinier! Or even put some tuff top coat or finishing coat on the top afterwards for that extra protection and sheen finish
Banging job that, Craig. Love the Frenchic paint, lovely to work with.
Thank you mate, glad you like our video! Yes, we love Frenchic!
@@MrandMrsDIY The missus wants a number of rad covers built, but this might be a better solution in the Panther colour for dramatic effect!

@@davidscott8761 No probs!
Craig, what grade of sandpaper do you use between coats?
Only something very fine little 240 grid
@@MrandMrsDIY Thank you Craig. best wishes to you.
You used a satin finish for the radiator. How do you feel about a gloss finish?

WOW - I really couldn't be arsed to do three coats three different ways - time to call in the pros I think 🙂- Great job tho Craig 🙂
Hahaha you don't have to do them all! Just find one that works for you!
Thank you 🙏
No problem!

Yes you can! Frenchic make one! Check out their website for more details!
I would paint the pipe work 🤗😂😂

@@MrandMrsDIY Is it not right to do that ? 😬
What was the stuff he put on the rust?
Put in th rust ??
Metal primer. Zinsser Bulls Eye in this case.
Can I do it in emulsion paint ???
You can use Frenchic's chalk and mineral paint yes, but not Emulsion paint it'll flake off
@@MrandMrsDIY I have done the walls celling and wood work and door all in emulsion so wanted the same. Colour. ??
@@1NeverunderStood It just won't hold up well with the heat when its turned on full
Why can't you spray paint it when warm ???
Because the paint won't key to it and won't dry properly, cheers
