No, you don't. You can put it in the gt position which I have done. Maybe if your a 20 year old the f1 position is fine but the older you get the harder it is to get in and out 👍

What are the dimensions as far as length and width? Height isn’t really a concern right now. Just trying to see if I can get away with squeezing this in my room as I really am trying to avoid buying a fold up lawn chair type of cockpit. Thanks
Yo mate thx for the good review. Also want to purchase this rig with the same pedals I already have a fanatec wheel and wheelbase. My question is how long did it take you to build the rig and was it difficult to mount the pedals to the rig?

you want a F1 position but you dont want to get in the cockpit just like in F1, you just have to live with that immersion man.

In the F position it's like 5 1/2 foot by 2 foot and in GT position 4 1/2 foot by 2 foot

Good review. I wonder if using only one stabilizing brace would work, instead of both. That would make it easier to get in/out of one side at least.
I'm using a csl elite and have no issues, honestly, I'd say unless you're using a very powerful DD you won't even need those braces.

Assembly is very easy, mounting the pedals was a piece of cake 🎂

Not sure what you mean, you need to mount the 2 brackets to the seat to mount it on the rig, the seat slider is pre installed
