Baymax is a robot designed to help people, so he doesn't judge the girl when she gets her period, and goes out of his way to find the best solution to her problem. Baymax is a robot designed to help people, so he doesn't judge the girl when she gets her period, and goes out of his way to find the best solution to her problem. When Turning Red came out my 11 year old son freaking LOVED it but of course missed all the period subtext ... On about the 700th viewing he asked me about the bathroom and the pad throwing scenes so I got the change to explain periods to him without having to throw it at him unexplained.... I love that movie for that. As a single mum, I could err on the side of telling him too much OR not enough so Turning Red solved that problem for me ❣️❣️ Thanks Mai-Mai ❣️❣️

@John Dough Biology is male, female, and intersex. Gender is man, woman, trans man, etc.
You don’t necessarily need to be a woman to have a period, but you definitely have to have been born female or intersex.
Either way, it’s easier to respect them than call them delusional so I recommend that.
