Watching your channel is inspiring me to try new things. I found some stompy boots at the thrift store today with very painterly multicolored roses on them. My first and middle name are both flowers, and I went through a pretty significant phase where I hated my middle name especially (Rose) because it was 'too girly.' I saw those shoes today, thought "eh, why not," and tried them on. And goddamn if those boots weren't comfortable as hell. Hi Kathleen!! I made panel pants like a year ago when you first released the panel pants video. I used jeans and made a patchwork out of light cotton, so to give it more body and avoid the flapping situation I stitched the cotton on top of scrap pieces of denim. Works like a dream! Maybe backing your lighter fabric with something more sturdy could help. Thank u for the spooky video 🎃🎃🎃
Hey Kathleen, you should try using a frixion pen to trace the letters onto your sweater projects with words/phrases. The frixion pen marks can be removed by heat or water. Obviously you should always test it on your fabric first to ensure it will come out, but I thought it might help.

Hi Kathleen! I'm in the UK and have just discovered your crazy, wholesome, creative videos! I'm a life long thrifter, up-cycler, crafter and general magpie. Everything in my home is either thrifted, 'gifted' (if anyone's throwing anything out, I usually grab it) or second hand. I've just found four great chairs that were left at the side of the road! I also love crochet and upcycling. I hardly ever buy gifts, I make them or 'enhance' existing finds into something unique. Your channel is great and you're very refreshing, honest and talented.
