Grog going up against Kevdak when he was so weak he could barely walk is by far the most badass thing he did this season. It's easy to be brave when you're seven feet and built like a bear, but it takes a spine of pure steel to be outmatched, know it, and then do it anyway.

Absolutely among the most hype moments in the show
I felt genuine chills. That thing practically reverberated through my bones.

"Grog Strongjaw, where does your strength come from?"
"WHAT STRENGTH?! CAN'T YOU SEE HOW WEAK I AM?!"
Travis went so above & beyond for that line. So many layers of emotions in there.
Anger
Frustration
Desperation
Hopelessness
Self-Loathing
Weakness
Pain
It's so completely different from all the answers he gave before. All sense of pride & overconfidence is gone.
Immediately followed up by an even more epic "I would like to rage" than season 1, and you know that after doing that emotional scene, he had so much fun just hyping himself up for that follow-up.
Oh yeah, as I got to say to him at NYCC, he basically had like 5 epic moments inside of 2 minutes in that episode!

"That's OK. I got more."
Earth breaker Groon is just depicted as such a badass as a lvl 20 monk would be
And Ike Amadi's voice makes him ten times more badass! Almost what I imagine Javik would be like if he was human and found peace after seeking vengeance.
Grog is literally the best character DnD has ever produced and it’s not even close.

For me it'd have to be one of my own characters: DnD led to my creating my Tabaxi barbarian Nails, and I've never loved an OC like her, she's inspired me and my art in ways I didn't think possible. I've wanted to create a graphic novel my whole life and never have, but now I'm almost 140 pages deep into a comic about her.
Grog is, however, an amazing character and I love him because instead of being a bunch of one-note cliches thrown together he's got some surprising depth to him.

Groon is a great no nonsense teacher for Grog
It would be awesome if Grog went to train under him he he would be even more cool as a Barbarian Monk sharpening his skills with weapons and getting hand to hand combat training and it could parallel the spiritual journey that Pike took to get back into contact with ever light and I can also see Groon being a very Stern father figure to him and grog being like the sun he never had

Yknow, Grog's beard does look an awful lot like the old masters. It's not perfect, but it's pretty similar. Reckon Grog's subconscious influenced the magic of the belt when he got a beard?
It is a fine beard, though a couple braids and gold bands would rock if ya ask me
Was worried how they would handle Grog’s arc but I throughly enjoyed it especially love the flashback

I just LOVE every part of this, Grog's story and how he grows. The music is perfected and the story is so intriguing. You got to love it when Grog goes berserk on his enemies.

Literally shows all of Grog’s weakest and/or most vulnerable moments.
because his tenacity showed why he is strong, think: he was weakened to the point he had problems wearing clothes, and despite that he tanked multiple hits from a vestige wearing, physically strongest goliath, and he was impaled on a stake and still survived, THAT was strength. not physical, but metaphorical, the whole point of the monk was to show that muscles aren't why grog is strong

When the title says that this is grog's strongest moments, I would not include when he loses control. If you were to add something that connects to how he is physically strong, then maybe, since he could not restrain himself from obeying the blood sword.

This is well edited to hit the highlights but not show it all.
There is no way the the writer's never watched Berserk, the strength coming for the need to protect the loved ones and selfless is all over Guts character.
This show is based on a D&D campaign. It's pretty likely Travis watched Berserk, how much of Grog came from the media he liked and how much of it came from him (at the time) not really getting D&D but being happy to be hanging out with his friends and enjoying himself, who can say?
More like the writers are huge fans of anime in general and the "power of friendship" is incredibly popular there

I am sorry but am I the only one who finds this hilarious? First Grog said he was gonna bring honour to this heard and challenged him for single combat but then when he lost he brought his party to this mix. I mean Kevdac was definitely evil but at the end of the day grog is dishonorable as well so nothing changed. This is hilarious
Feels more like Kev was cheating initially because of his gauntlets. Grog was going bare handed with no muscles and even after muscles. Whereas Kev was basically using brass knuckles. So...meet dishonorable combat with dishonorable combat
Brass knuckles *and* magical doping. Dude grew to twice his original size to stop Grog from beating him down after he raged.
But really, that's not the kind of honor that Grog is talking about. He means 'looking out for the little guy,' a chivalric kind of honor.
