I showed my 8 year old daughter this video of you, and she loved this plant as well I do love it 🥰😍. I let her choose a succulent few weeks ago from a store, and she is so cute when she speaks to her plant🥰. We repotted them days ago following your instructions because I felt safe😌 doing it your way, and a couple of days ago we noticed new babies growing up, which make us very happy and that makes me feel hope! 😀😃 Thanks so much for your advices, Mother Earth needs more people like you 💚🙏🏽🤲🌎🌍🌏
You got a great deal on those! I think a giveaway for 10,000 is a wonderful idea. I know any plant lover would enjoy that and whatever else you chose to go with it.
Wow!! I can’t believe the deal you got!!!! I remember seeing the video but I wasn’t into cactus then so I didn’t even realize. Now I’m a cactus head! I paid 43$ for one that size
You make that look so easy. I'm sure being dry was a good idea....and look how lovely they look in their own pots. Even the 2 in one! Now they can show off for you! (smile) Thank you again for another great video - you explain well and have such a calming voice. I needed that today.
You're very welcome Marcella! It's always a good idea to have your plants in drier soil when repotting. It makes it much easier. Thanks so much for watching!
It's so relaxing to watch you repot Carmen. Those roots were so easy to separate and yes the roots look good. Now let me finish watching this video. Have a good day. Blessings!
Very nice looking euphorbias you have there. The white ghost is a very cool euphorbia as well. I have not been able to find either one here in Michigan. Great video keep them coming.
For large cactus or Euphorbia like this, the towel trick works well. For smaller cacti I use a kitchen tong (one that you would use to flip things) and that helps not get pokes.
Love the repot Carmen, so relaxing🥰 The euphorbias look great, your mom will love her gift. Congrats on almost 10k, I was here before 3k, love your content and the giveaway sounds awesome🙌💚
I gasped when I saw how deep they were in the pot! They look so much better separated 👍 I'd love to have one but I'm not sure how it would fare in rainy Belgium, even indoors 😔 Summertime should be fine but I think it would struggle in my west - facing window in the winter because our days are so short!
I'm not sure, but I think it was to make the plant more stable. I'm glad I repotted them and discovered they were actually taller than I thought. Thanks for stopping by Lorraine.
That is the most beautiful Euphorbia I have ever seen 😍 I have a different variety, and I don't think it's done anything since I purchased it in March ☹️ It seems to be healthy.
What a lovely cactus. Luv watching ur repotting vids, Carmen. They’re so relaxing. And can’t wait for the giveaway!! 😁🌵congrats on getting to 10K!! Soon. Very soon.
Hi Carmen, I have one Ammak a bit taller than yours in a small pot. My cat dropped it and made some damages to the top part. What do u advice me to do for it as I’m not happy how it looks. With many thanks.
If you cut off the top, it will likely heal and grow arms off the sides. I would seal the cut area with cinnamon. It is a natural fungicide and will help reduce rotting. good luck.
Hi Carmen, I have a Euphorbia Lactea White Ghost it used to be lush and plumpy but I noticed that it is thinner and wrinkled. I thought it might've been thirsty so I watered it but it didn't seem to get any better. Since it continued to be wrinkled I took it out of the soil and saw that the soil was still wet near the root system and it has smaller/wet roots along with little rust color. What do you suggest I do? It still did have a few good roots here and there please any tips are greatly appreciated 😊👍🏼
It sounds like you need a better draining soil. I would get all of the old soil and any dead roots off the plant. Repot it in a new succulent mix and add some perlite for more drainage. Once repotted, give it a good drink of water. Also, try using terra cotta pot.
Very cool plants! That would be so nice of you to share that beautiful plant in a sub give away! You will reach 10,000 in no time. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day!💜🍃
Carmen Whitehead i see now thank you!!!! Do you notice any difference in pests between foliage plants and cacti/succulents ? I imagine cacti would have less problems?
@@なちゅう-l6g Yes, my succulents and cacti do have less pest problems, hardly ever. But, my inside foliage plants have had pests before. Not many, but a few.

Thanks so much Marisela! It's wonderful that your daughter is showing a love of plants at such an early age and wonderful that you're supporting her.

I thought so too. I'm working on getting a local nursery to sponsor it with some plants. So, we'll see how that goes. Thanks for visiting Hilary!
That is one beautiful euphorbia

I couldn't believe the price either! Especially with four in the pot. Thanks for watching Clementine!
Carmen you are so brave for handling this bad boy bare hand! 😆
I really should have worn gloves, I had a couple of pokes that hurt for a couple days. The towel really helped though. Thanks for visiting!

Such a beautiful cactus Carmen - good job with such a prickly customer ! 🌵👏🏼🥰

PS. Using the towel too hold it, excellent tip! 😃
Beautiful plants, they separated so easy!
Yeah, I was prepared to do some untangling, but happy when they separated easily and no damage. Thanks for watching.
wonderfull video as always Carmen ! beautyfull cactus ! congrats for 10k !🌵👍
Thank you very much!
I think this variety is beautiful! I keep my euphorbia trigona rubra in a northwest window in my home in Maricopa. This milky looking one is stunning
Beautiful Ammak, such pretty variegation, nice repot 😊
So pretty! You’ll get your viewers, I am sure! I have just the place for the cactus! Fingers crossed!
Just wait till you see the other prizes! Thanks for visiting!

Thanks for stopping by Chrystal have a great week!
I have been nervous to repot cactus type plants. Thanks for sharing.

Carmen Whitehead thanks!!!!! 🙏🏽🤩👍🏼
I’m excited about the giveaway. I only grow cactus and succulent plants and can’t know enough about them!
Such a helpful video! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Hope I'm your list, love your videos. Sandra from PR.
Hi Sandra and welcome!
Looks good Carmen. I really like euphorbias.
So do I, definitely one of my favorite genus.
What a nice giveaway😊
Such a beautiful plant! Towel was a great idea - nice video Carmen 👏
Thanks so much 😊 I learned the towel trick the hard way a while back.
I just got one from Lowe’s! Mine only had two in the pot though so lucky you! I wonder how they are now?
That was a perfect potting video! I would have done everything you did...thanx for a great summer interlude🤗🤗🤩
So glad you enjoyed it Patricia! Have a great weekend.
Love the repot Carmen, so relaxing🥰

Carmen you’re the best💚
Hi Carmen, that is one Sexy Euphorbia & what a great deal for four. I am totally stoked for the giveaway🤞!! 10k🎉
They look beautiful ❣️
I gasped when I saw how deep they were in the pot! They look so much better separated 👍
I'd love to have one but I'm not sure how it would fare in rainy Belgium, even indoors 😔
Summertime should be fine but I think it would struggle in my west - facing window in the winter because our days are so short!
I would probably be dormant in the Winter in those conditions. A grow light may help it. Thanks for visiting Sylvie!
Hi well done repotting. I learned a lot thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I had a plant but forgot to water it for a month and it started to wilt can it be saved
Very new with cactus. The plant looks large for such a small pot. Do cactus not need deep pots?
Not all of them. Most tend to have shallow root system. They'll be happy in these size pots for at least 2-3 years. Thanks for visiting Cinnamon!
Hi! They look better after you repotted them cause they look taller.
Yes, I couldn't believe how deep they were potted. But, they're all in good condition.
Wow!!! They look so much better😁 I wonder why they had them buried so deep ?☹ thanks for the video, would love one of these 😉🌵
I'm not sure, but I think it was to make the plant more stable. I'm glad I repotted them and discovered they were actually taller than I thought. Thanks for stopping by Lorraine.
Wow..such a beautiful cacti i would like to have one for myself too !!!!
Thanks for visiting and be on the lookout for the giveaway!

Sometimes they can be slow growers. Is it getting any sun?
👍
Carmon, do you know if your home depot or lowes sales and ships these online?
I don't know Chrissy. They may, check it out. Have a great weekend.
Hi Carmen hope your well . So my Ammaks during the winter I've been watering once a.month , you think thats good ?
Yes, absolutely. They don't need much.
Thank you , your so nice I appreciate it
What a lovely cactus. Luv watching ur repotting vids, Carmen. They’re so relaxing. And can’t wait for the giveaway!! 😁🌵congrats on getting to 10K!! Soon. Very soon.

@@carmenwhitehead that’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure because I did that with other species but not with the Ammak. Thanks a lot for you!!
Where did u get the plant.
I found it at Home Depot for $25.98. They also had the green variety known as Chocolate Drop (because of its brown margins).

Yay! Thank you!
What a deal!!
❤️👍🏾
Would you be willing to sell one
Not at this time Sylvia. If you have access to a Home Depot or Lowes they are carrying them now.
I noticed that you took most of the soil off 🤔
Why ? 🤪🤔
It was potted much too deep and the soil had too much peat for my liking. I would rather use my succulent mix that is more free draining.
🌵🤩😍
Pick me, pick me😂. Love your cacti, beautiful.
You gotta wait for the video Lynn! LOL! I think you'll love the other prizes too.

it’s so pretty 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Ive been wanting euphorbias so bad. can u possibly show and tell all of your plants in a video?
I do have some videos on my channel that are a balcony tour and an inside tour. Just look under the "Videos" tab of my channel. Thanks!
