Have a question on ANYTHING to do with succulents? Go to debraleebaldwin.com and browse the menu or use the Search bar. Btw, my site is not monetized---no annoying pop-up ads. It's my gift to my followers and the culmination of my career as a horticulturist/photojournalist specializing in succulents. You'll find 100+ pages of tips and ideas; thousands of photos and must-know facts for specific varieties; curated design ideas for gardens, landscapes and containers; interviews with experts; seasonal info; and much more. Use the site as a research tool that also is entertaining---the same goal as my TH-cam channel. Q's welcome!
This is an excellent overview of Euphorbias, which are so versatile and one of the superior plants for dry, frost free gardens. I appreciate your description of the distinguishing features of Euphorbia and cactus. In landscapes cactus tend to have an emphatic presence, while Euphorbia may be more vibrant, sculptural and intriguing.
Perfect! Perfect photography, labeling, and brief descriptions! NOW.. do the same for aeoniums, haworthia, echeverias, and all the other popular genera!
Well, hon, I have! In my books (notably Designing with Succulents) and on my website at: debraleebaldwin.com/types-of-succulents/. On TH-cam, type the genus into my channel's search bar. But I DO know what you mean...a dedicated video for each would be good, like this and one I did earlier on Agaves. th-cam.com/video/h3DwwGY--dU/w-d-xo.html Great idea! As soon as I clone myself! (LOL).
sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Dakari Gregory thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Thanks for helping me ID some of my euphorbias. I didn't realize that some of my favorite plants, the pedilanthuses (or is that pedilanthi?), had been reclassified!
You're most welcome! Re the plural, I don't know, but I'd probably do a work-around: "in the genus Pedilanthus" (italicized). Thanks for a delightful comment!

So much variety in one genus! Love the sculptural qualities!
Yes! Living sculptures.
Euphorbia Ingens aka the skinny cactus
Well I see your point (no pun intended), but I would never call a euphorbia a cactus...if I could help it. 😘
