    I’ve been implementing the top and back off set training for legs. Like it way better going all out on one set then 3 or 4 and might start using it for other training days as well.
    I used to enjoy high volume and it worked for awhile when I just got started in the gym but finding I enjoy getting into the mindset for one all out set. Only part will keep high volume is arms because it’s my biggest weakness.

    Push, Pull, Legs, Arms is my go to split is for guys who have built their pediment with years and years of training. Everyone doing that split has been training over 15-20 years and has built his physique with the standard 1 bodypart per day split.
    There is nothing that beats the traditional Back,Shoulders,Legs,Chest,Arms split
    OR (if you have genetically good arms and don't need to train them directly): Back + Biceps/Triceps, Shoulders, Quads, Chest + Biceps/Triceps ,Hamstrings

    I dig that since episode 1 that your training partner maintains the continuity of checking himself out in the mirror in between sets in that way the most people do as if no one can see them…… but everyone can.

    Why would you use straps for hammer curls? What about those brachioradialis gains?

    • @JustinShier
      @JustinShier  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m missing three fingers on my right hand so it’s difficult for me to hold onto the dumbbell, also the straps allow me to grip less on the dumbbells which alleviates some forearm tendinitis that I deal with.

    Whenever in doubt, just perform "rest-pause-drop" sets: once you reach muscle failure, do one rest pause set, then reduce the load and continue the set with a drop set to muscle failure again : )
