What is not discussed is Pederson slows fractionally in the finale to tempt Trentin to go then jumps on him. Very lucid and tactically aware for a young rider. Bravo Mads!

I've seen so many big media players straight up copy smaller creators in my time on TH-cam. I love that eurosport recognized the talent of cosmo and decided to just hire him, and he seems to be getting the creative freedom he deserves as well. Can't wait for the season to get started again, to see more of his content!

I was slready telling my gf at 10k that Trentin had it in the bag. Imagine my surprise when he couldn't hold a 200m sprint 😢

Great as always Cosmo. I do have to say though that weather like that is unusual for England , it does rain quite a lot but not like that very often. One thing for sure is you don't win a race like that by chance , very very impressive from Mads Pedersen.

Also, were there more dnf's than finishers? Jeez.

I think I saw a group of about 10 up the road over the top of the main climb on the second lap including alaphillipe but they had maybe a 3 second advantage so can't imagine they stayed away long
