Never used a call before and picked up the whole suffle pack and came home and with in a cpl min i got some good sounds. I think my neighbors where alittle upset but seasons right around the corner. I lost my Yellow committed while out scouting lol so i'll be ordering a new one soon. Thanks guys and hope to see you out in the woods..
I just received my Cat road Shuffle from you guys and almost instantly went over to a buddy of mines office to return some of the calls he gave me to practice, after I hit that sweet spot a few times I grabbed the bugle and ripped off a few in front of him and he almost folded over laughing. Thanks for the tips guys especially on trimming my call, I get a better seal now and it really helped.
Hey guys, I'm a fellow southern Oregonian who is attempting his first elk archery hunt this year. Right outside of Ashland. I appreciate all of the knowledge. Thank you!
Thanks for the time spent once AGAIN boys. I'm heading to Idaho next September and I turned to born and raised for advice, the best part is I don't have to ask for it, it's just given. Thanks AGAIN
I just started trying to use a mouth reed last season and felt like I was ok at it. Been practicing all summer but I was struggling with pitch control and losing that high note. I just tried it several times with the call just a little farther back in my mouth and felt like I had much more control as opposed to when it was closer to my front teeth. Great tip, now to keep annoying my dog and neighbors! :)
I just started using Reed call and driving around in Bat area traffic you should see the look on people's face when I forget the window down. Priceless !!!
You told us “volume over pitch” which was great advice. If you were told your life depended on how loud your bugle was could you make it louder than the previous one? The photos we have from LOF had Treavor’s veins popping out of his neck. Really great advice because the volume of air from the diaphragm is much stronger than that from just your mouth. And the part about sounding like a fool. We are still learning but it’s part of the process. See you boys in a month 😳
I literally watched and mimicked Will Primos for weeks on end until I got it years ago. A big thing is getting your body into it. Look at an elk while he’s bugling.. he bugles with his whole body. When I bugle, i put my gut into it. Especially when chuckling.
This is amazing! You took away all the mystery of how this works. Much more instructional than any Primos video I’ve watched. Thanks guys. I’m Sub’d for life!
Well after watching this video and working on it for a bit my wife said I didn't sound like a dying elk like before. Thanks for the info. You all are great.
Awesome video. This is year 8, can’t hunt for fear of loss of job, darn Covid, but years 1-7 were awesome. No elk but a big learning curve! I will be back at it on year 9 and moving forward! Your videos have taught me a lot about sticking with it and perseverance and not giving up. Keep at it and keep on making videos!
Good job guys on your calling videos. Got the "Kill Pack" yesterday in the mail. Tried them all day on a road trip in the truck. Great calls. The right call is such a individual thing. For me I found the blue call had the best tone for the way I call. Going to try trimming one. Never thought of that before. Keep up the the awesome work. Honest and real entertainment! Love you guys! September 1 can't come soon enough....
Im glad you boys had the grown up of the bunch explain the subject after the shithow I watched last night with the three stooges.Love the vids guys.Matt in oregon.
Trust me I'm a dentist! I just had All on 4 implants a few months ago. I was worried about being able to use diaphragm calls for turkey, and learning to call elk. No problems getting a seal even though there are huge gaps between teeth and gums.
What advice can you give for the growl and chuckles when you pull air back in? When i try to do it I always almost inhaling the call. i got the locator and lip ball figured out but i want the growl and chuckle in my arsenal
Question regarding mouth calls. I am a beginning bow hunter, hopefully will draw for my first elk hunt this year. Can a mouth call be used if you don't have teeth on the top? I have a denture plate that doesn't fit correctly and due to insurance I don't know if I'll have a new one before season. Thanks for any input.
I hunt Roosevelt near Astoria. Have you guys found much difference in pitch or tone of Rockies and Rosies? I believe I read once that Rosie bulls have a higher top note than Rocky bulls
I love the bro call black diaphragm the right sound first time money and now everyone hates me at home I’ve been able to call in the whole family at all times day and night lol
This instructional video brought to you by Bi Mart & it’s best caller Mr. Douglas Flootie. 🤘😆🤘 Oh. And carhart. Seriously nice job Trevor! This was awesome! So many bulls going down this season it’s not even funny!
Trent and Cody don’t ever let one jackass wine about what you do, ya you guys changed the theme song and you have that right it’s your show not his. Hope he quits breathing he is wasting our good air... I follow only a few rules in life and if you don’t have a solution to a problem maybe your part of the problem... No negativity he men awesome videos....🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🏹

This is one of my most favorite learn to videos I have ever seen! And that's not just a spitty mess! 😆
I learned more from this video than I did from 7 or 8 other instructional videos on the internet.

Good presentation on calling! I found if you tie a piece of dental floss to it that builds your confidence that you won't choke on it.
“Sound like a GORILLA!”
Best advice ive gotten to help learn to bugle/chuckle
Keep it up guys! I love the frequent content
Good job Treavor thanks for the tips.
Now I'm REALLY excited and can't wait to try these!
Fabulous video gentleman thanks for all the insight looking forward to more videos
I agree I’m a beginner at calling and the blue one is easier to cow call for me but the black is my favorite for bugling following by the yellow one.
Thank you. This helps me so much.
Trim the outer edge worked, thank you for the tip.. Cool sound now..
Im glad you boys had the grown up of the bunch explain the subject after the shithow I watched last night with the three stooges.Love the vids guys.Matt in oregon.

Is wearing a bino chest harness mandatory to practicing elk call? ;) Good vid guys.
I hunt Roosevelt near Astoria. Have you guys found much difference in pitch or tone of Rockies and Rosies? I believe I read once that Rosie bulls have a higher top note than Rocky bulls
We've never seen any difference in the pitch between the two.
I love the bro call black diaphragm the right sound first time money and now everyone hates me at home I’ve been able to call in the whole family at all times day and night lol
You guys should have a little elk call competition between all of you. We can judge. Lol
Thanks a bunch for these good tips...NYC 👌
Just wondering can you call in cow elk?
GOOD INFO!!! IM GONNA START CLEANING OUT MY FREEZER
This instructional video brought to you by Bi Mart & it’s best caller Mr. Douglas Flootie. 🤘😆🤘
Oh. And carhart.
Seriously nice job Trevor! This was awesome! So many bulls going down this season it’s not even funny!
Thanks big help
Fun stuff guys
Bout time someone explains this right..!
Trev, are you going to go on the next long trip? Hope you get the time off, cuz I like the way you do your face camo.
"and that's just a spitty mess!" Practicing in the vehicle requires windshield cleanings.
LOL.
Lol
Thanks for the tips. (Trust me I’m a Dentist… Your new tag line.)
Those with upper false teeth should plan on carrying lots of poly-denture.....lol...Your caller and false teeth could be propelled across the grass.
Trevor - what does a Gorilla Sound like?>???
I never knew Trevor was a dentist!!!! WTF???
Trevor thanks staying serious and giving the art due respect....too bad about the clown you are with. Lots of guys to hunt with...loose the luggage.
