- We move on to Grooby's Pit, a Tranquil Park in Lincolnshire. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very kind to us but we still enjoyed our caravan holiday.

We had our first trip away in April, we spent a relaxing week at Moorend Farm CL site in Slimbridge Gloucester. We were very fortunate to have good weather all week! Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Take care & stay safe. All the very best

We live very near to Groobys Pit ( Spilsby ) and we store our caravan about 2 miles from the site.
My husband used to fish there lots years ago before it was a site and my Mum and step Dad owned and originally set up ( in the 1980's) a site around the corner from Groobys called Swan Lake which is still there and very busy.
Hope you enjoyed it despite the weather .
We were away at the same time and it really was quite awful x

Don't know if Keith knows that you need CAA registration, by law, to use a Drone ?
It's easy to register and stop you possibly getting fined or something.
Do you have any plans to re schedule the Rally?.

Hi Louise, It’s absolutely beautiful, you’ll have a fabulous time! The site will give you directions for getting there as some approach roads are unsuitable. We had a wonderful time Mark. As you can see in the video, the surrounding area is beautiful so lots of lovely walks to be had & Skegness is about a 15 minute drive away. Having said that, the site is so peaceful & tranquil you may not want to leave 😀 Many thanks for watching, Keith & Michele.

Hi, would you have any advice on cleaning awnings. It is 150D Oxford polyester. Also do you need to keep it water tight be applying anything after cleaning? The awning is 3 years old.

What are the amenities like?? Are pitches serviced?
Hi. Cara The Van, Grooby’s Pit offers fully serviced pitches, either hard standing or grass, with water & 16 amp EHU. They have toilet & shower blocks, laundry facility & a dog washing room. Unfortunately, due to the current limitations we were unable to experience the additional facilities, we’re certain they will be excellent along with the rest of the site.
