So strange all of this ! I follow quite a few people on TH-cam , and this year and last quite a few of these people are having very very similar health issues ? What on earth could be the link I wonder to these seemingly fit healthy guys and gals going through this trauma ?? This is the 5 th I know of !

So sorry to hear what happened but glad your on the road to recovery. I had very similar in may 2020 during lockdown, just felt odd took the dog out for a walk and didnt get 200 yards and felt terrible,just managed to get home {luckily my darling wife was there} and just collapsed. at the age of only 49. Had the best treatment at the Royal Papworth hospital and thanks to them i am now feeling better than ever, still caravaning and enjoying it more than ever. Nice to see you have come back to caravaning, enjoy what you have especialy your lovely wife All the bestxx

Thank you for sharing your story. It will encourage anyone experiencing pain in the chest or back to call an ambulance. It's a mistake to go to A&E with these symptoms because there is a risk you will be kept waiting. Paramedics are able to use diagnostic machines that can confirm you are having a heart attack and will blue light you to the hospital. You may still have to wait but whilst you are waiting you will be in the ambulance being monitored. Looking forward to your return. Your experience of motorhoming is exactly the same as ours. They are very expensive to buy, run and store and also can be restricting as to when and where you can go whilst using them.
What a journey you've experienced, thankfully you pulled through & you are on the mend. I have enjoyed your blogs & I sincerely hope you fully recover then you can enjoy some more excursions. God bless you both

As someone who has been through the same thing, I was treated badly told it was anxiety, stress until one member of staff a lovely nurse from Africa called Jennifer did a test for troponin, then attitudes changed. I’m so glad you’re still with us, welcome back and look forward to watching more adventures with you.

Don’t touch alcohol either Thank God you are ok. Both of you take care of yourselves. My husband and I have both had stents fitted. We had to give up Caravanning because my heart is damaged and I can’t walk to far, I get out of breath easily, We miss our Caravan but due to health issues and being in our 70s I wanted to go Caravanning again but Hubby says no! He is right. All the best is wished for both of you ❤❤❤

My dad had his first heart attack at the age of 35 which is when we moved from London to the Isle of Wight, he went on to have several internal defib/pacemakers fitted and lived into his 91’st year, he passed away in March due to dementia related problems, he lived a very full life as will Keith love to you both ❤️

Ohhh so sorry Keith and Michele to hear about Keith's heart attack, how frightening that must that of been, we're so glad your ok and recovering. My dad had a heart attack way back in the 80's and had a pacemaker fitted and was told not to go near the microwave because of the radio waves it gives out, we found this quite funny. if it wasn't for you we wouldn't of bought a caravan!! Keith glad you doing well. I had a heart attack last March and during my recovery I started watching you tube. Being owners of a folding camper and tented for years we had struggled the last year and it was proving just a little difficult. Jeannie always wanted a caravan but I never wanted the stress of towing and the complicated hassle. Then came carefree caravanning I got hooked on yours, and a couple more on caravans. So in April we went shopping and got ourselves a new sprite major 4SB, Debra and have had the best year touring which greatly helped my recovery. So what I’m trying to say is thank you and Michelle for giving me the confidence to buy debra and actually from the negative came a great positive so we can enjoy our 2nd chance. Hi there from Australia. You are so brave sharing your story. The same happened to me 13 months ago. I too was feeling very unwell for a week or so before having my first heart attack. I called the ambulance (under protest) then vomited soon after. The Ambulance recognised that I had a cardiac problem and was loaded into the ambulance and soon after had the second heart attack in the ambulance. The third heart attack came as they unloaded me out of the ambulance. Long story short, I got one stent, but was then put on high priority for a triple heart bypass. My operation was on January 2023. I have been enjoying wonderful health. Yes, a huge change in diet and the need to be more physically active. Like you, we are lucky to have not suffered any heart damage from the attacks. So glad your now well on the road to recovery. We love watching your adventures caravanning😊 Many years ago we had started caravanning and then changed to a VW campervan which was good but..had it's drawbacks. So we had break from campervans and caravans etc and decided after a long absence from them to purchase another caravan in 2018 just to see if it suited. I'm happy to say it did and we upgraded it again in 2021. We had no regrets with the campervan but we prefer caravans. Happy caravanning both. Best Wishes Linda and Glenn 🙂

So glad to have you guys back and sorry to hear of your problems but really happy your on the road to recovery. Was worried all was well as never been so long without a video but now it’s totally understandable. We lost my brother 3 years ago this November from a heart attack aged just 54 it was sudden and a real shock, like you he just thought he had a chest infection sadly, he didn’t go to hospital and now we don’t have him! I don’t know what we’d do without you two, despite following many others on TH-cam too now, you two were the very first caravaners I watched. Your friendliness, down to earth nature and just the way you come across on camera makes us feel like we’re almost part of the family, so, thank you for that. Wow Keith that is terrible. I developed sepsis November 2018 and died but our amazing NHS got me back. It took over 2 years to get back to normal-ish the sepsis caused a lot of damage I also developed PTDS it came from the out of body, death dream what ever it is. Very very relaxing which is an odd feeling but something was not right so I starting shouting at myself to walk up, so need that sorting. I can understand how scared you both were? Be kind to yourself and my advice is get help for your mental health it really does help. It is odd having a second chance isn’t it you look at things so differently. I love adore my wife I’m so lucky, I just couldn’t stop looking at her, realising how lucky I was to still be here. Trees birds grass smells OMG smells. I wish you both health and happiness. When it comes to processed food OMG yes it is terrible for you. I have colitis and I tried a product called Yfood and I have just left hospital after a flare my doctor said Yfood it’s very heavily processed and it’s probably that but landed you in hospital. I’m quite lucky my wife cooks most of our own sources but avoiding process food is very difficult. Be happy and I wish you a lot of healthy years to come. James

Oh wow, glad you are on the road to recovery, I have missed you both. You guys are one of the reason who I managed to get my husband into getting a caravan ❤ stay well & healthy both
We came to the conclusion about large motorhomes very early. If we went anywhere you could see people who you saw on camp sites, with motorhomes, at bus stops, etc, basically anchored to the camp site. Although they look very appealing, easy to set up etc. we could see that they were logistically flawed. Even re-filling your water, or emptying your waste water you have to move the motorhome, whereas a caravan or a campervan you just fill an aqua roll or container up itself and empty a waste master. As far as other accommodation or holidays, a change is as good as a rest, particularly in the winter, where we go to Benidorm or Highland Lodge cabins in Scotland, hotels etc. never say never. There are times when they are the best option, when a long dark 16 hour night in December or January, trapped in a campervan or caravan might not be the best option or you just fancy a bit of heat and sun, particularly the older you get, when you feel the cold more.

First of all, I'm so glad you are on the road to recovery!! Secondly, glad you have made a decision about the vehicle for your future adventures too. We are relatively new caravanners and thought long and hard about mhome vs caravan - two things decided it for us - the motorhome cost is too high for us, and at least as important is the fact that we, like you, enjoy getting out and about and exploring which is far easier in a car than a motorhome most of the time. Our caravan is a 2017 Bailey Unicorn Valencia ( she's called Doris) and we've had it since Jan 22 - it's difficult for us to get out of the close where we live, sometimes awkward to get out of the village ( parked cars on both sides of a b road), but we love it - it's a home from home when we are away in it and a great source of stress relief when we use it as we both have pressure at work. Looking forward to seeing you enjoying your new journeys - we are off to Glastonbury, Dorset/Hants border, and Norfolk in ours this year and can't wait - we're also going to the C and M show at the NEC next month on the Saturday. Bit of a shock that....but so pleased you are on the mend, bit of a reality check as well. Like so many others, you were inspirational, post covid when we bought our first caravan, simple but great tips, from loading correctly through set ups. Crikey . Virtuall ditto , 5 years ago we had a swift challenger 2 berth our pride a joy , went to reighton sands in Filey to do some bird photography , pitched up and six hours later I had really bad indigestion and chest pains , wife called for a ambulance and they confirmed heart failure got rushed into hull heart hospital 50 miles away .. straight into the operating theatre and stent fitted .. after being allowed out we had to get car and caravan back to wales ( another story) as I couldn’t drive for 4 weeks. The wife then gave up and sold the caravan due to worry .move on a couple of years and the daughter talked us in to camping so we bought a huge air tent lovely thing but to heavy for a pair of pensioners . Last year in June we were away in it and it was freezing cold so we sat having dinner looked at one another and went CARAVAN . Spotted one in Yorkshire and fell in love with it bought it on the spot a used swift conquerer 2 berth ,coming up for our third holiday in 3 weeks back to Yorkshire for the birds on bempton cliffs ❤

So glad to hear that you’re on the mend, your videos are always a breath of fresh air and we were wondering why nothing new was posted, however you’ve answered that question now. My wife and I are are very similar to yourselves in the type of holidays, locations, eating habits 😅and so on and we even looked at going down the motorhome route ourselves, however we didn’t commit due to the “exploring while pitched up” problem that a motorhome can bring and also the stress that comes along with it in finding parking, so my wife and I have decided that motorhoming is not for us and we’ll be remaining dedicated caravaners for a few more years to come. It’s good to have you back and we’ll be looking forward to some of your new adventures in your caravan to come.❤

Firstly, sending well wishes to you both. Glad to see you well and back. My husband had a stroke and 8 weeks after had a heart attack in late 22 he was 51 at the time. After watching loads of channels and binge watching yours we decided to get a caravan last year. Had a great summer and winter so far. We look at life differently now. I don’t know you from Adam, but both my parents in law have had heart attacks. Both survived but with serious damage. They get by, but they’re not the same as they used to be. You are so lucky and I’m so chuffed for you. Life is for living so really enjoy yourselves. Thank-you for sharing your experiences it’s a real pleasure watching. ❤️❤️

I did wonder, like many of us, why suddenly you had gone quiet on the video front, and was worried it could be something serious, as you'd not said you intended to take a break from this. Anyway, sounds like you're properly back on the road, which is fantastic news. Thank you for sharing with us all. Very pleased to hear it looks like you're going back to caravanning. Personally, I was surprised when you announced the change to the motorhome, especially as you were used to such a lovely big caravan with separate bedroom and large bathroom. Like you said, Motorhoming is quite different and very expensive, so I think you'll soon get back into the caravan lifestyle, especially as you've explored other holidays and recognised what you don't like. It’s a very scary experience, I know, I’ve been there, I was 51 at the time. That was nearly 21 years ago. With life style changes and medication, you will adjust and still enjoy life. I still caravan and enjoy our lives. I wish you all the best and live life to the full.

We started caravaning 3 years ago from tenting for 45 years,,absolutely loved your caravan blogs with your great ideas and best of all your humor, We have a Bailey Grande Messina and despite many negative comments on Baileys we've been trouble free, lucky because we imported it ourselves to New Zealand, so no backup warranty,. We will eagerly look forward to your posts again. Ps, makes me think about reducing my sugar intake as sweets are my downfall.

Hi Keith and Michelle, exactly the same happened to me in Oct 23, only feeling sick, ECG show okay, but blood test showed heart attack, same as you 2 stents fitted, but on different operations, how are you feeling ? I'm not back to normal after 2.5 months were you ? So glad you are still with us, and going back to caravans again, I didn't unscribe when you moved to Motorhomes, but have seen this before, as its not the same type of holidays

It was lovely to watch your video and see you back and both looking so well. Unfortunately we had to give up caravanning because my wife can’t climb in and we now go to hotels, but we have that same feeling. Perhaps I should look again at a hoist for entry and just look at what caravans are available for disabled people.

Hi Recently found your channel and great content. Like you we went from caravan to Motorhomes then campervan. All was well until last summer when we wanted to use P&R in Portsmouth and Salisbury only to find height barriers 😡😡. That showed Britain does not want to cater for ‘us types’ so we opted to go back to a caravan. Seems to be less stress but this summer will tell. Happy travels.

Ok so - wow!! Thank the Lord you were ok Keith. Sounded an absolutely horrendous experience! And for Michelle too. But the huge good news is that you both have a lifestyle change which should see you on for a good few years yet. I was watching this thinking, I know that I need to change too. Rubbish diet and not enough exercise. I am trying (as everyone does), to live better. We did in the end buy a Motorhome -(cheers for the storage advice Keith) and we’re loving it. So we both really hope that whatever you’re going to be doing is right for you 👍👍👍 And maybe we will see you on the road in the future (or wave over the storage fence) 😃 Phew - that was a heavy but inspiring video you two. Glad you recovered. I had 7 arterial heart grafts 9 years ago and now feel as fit as a buck rat. Our NHS staff are brilliant despite the intolerable pressure they are under. We can look forward to better times to come for the NHS and hospital care in 2024.

Just looking not going to buy LOL we did the same last August and we walked out with buying a brand new Swift Challenger Hi Style 650l, So happy to hear your getting back on the mend and also that we too have had to change our lifestyle. Me with the crisps and biscuits along with the sweets and my wife who broke both her arms has our Golden Retriever pulled her and she fell braking those two arms, but it has made her decide after spending 10 days in hospital that she has stopped drinking and smoking as she did like a drink and the hospital advised her to stop because of the liver damage. I’ve only just watched this. I was in tears. Several years ago it happened to my husband, aged 47. Like Keith, we had no idea he was having a heart attack because we expected it to be like in the movies - pain in the arm and clutching of the chest. Again, like Keith, he likened it to a heavy weight, as if an elephant was sitting on his chest. We didn’t call for an ambulance either because well they are just for emergencies aren’t they and we didn’t want to waste their time?! 🙄 I took him to the GP who called for an ambulance. The paramedics then called for an air ambulance because they needed to operate quickly. So Michele, when you were reliving it, I was reliving it with you. Again, like Keith he needed 2 stents. Sadly it did damage his heart so he wasn’t as lucky in that respect but he survived and we will forever be in debt to the NHS. It changes you completely. Our outlook on life has changed. Life is not a dress rehearsal. He works part time now and we are buying our first Motorhome next month. One thing that has changed is he gets so emotional now and when Keith started welling up, I wondered if it’s a common thing after a heart attack. Wishing you both a healthy future xx

So sorry to hear of your health issues, pleased that you’re on the road to recovery, we had a caravan and changed to a Motorhome but have now changed back again to the caravan, it suits our needs much better, unfortunately not been able to use this last year due to health issues with my Mum. You never know what’s around the corner. Having a Motorhome sounds good at the time but then after a while and all the parking issues, you realise that the Caravan is better. So sorry to hear what happened but glad your on the road to recovery.
I had very similar in may 2020 during lockdown, just felt odd took the dog out for a walk and didnt get 200 yards and felt terrible,just managed to get home {luckily my darling wife was there} and just collapsed. at the age of only 49.
Had the best treatment at the Royal Papworth hospital and thanks to them i am now feeling better than ever, still caravaning and enjoying it more than ever.

Thank you for sharing your story. It will encourage anyone experiencing pain in the chest or back to call an ambulance. It's a mistake to go to A&E with these symptoms because there is a risk you will be kept waiting. Paramedics are able to use diagnostic machines that can confirm you are having a heart attack and will blue light you to the hospital. You may still have to wait but whilst you are waiting you will be in the ambulance being monitored. Looking forward to your return. Your experience of motorhoming is exactly the same as ours. They are very expensive to buy, run and store and also can be restricting as to when and where you can go whilst using them.

As someone who has been through the same thing, I was treated badly told it was anxiety, stress until one member of staff a lovely nurse from Africa called Jennifer did a test for troponin, then attitudes changed. I’m so glad you’re still with us, welcome back and look forward to watching more adventures with you.

Don’t touch alcohol either Thank God you are ok. Both of you take care of yourselves. My husband and I have both had stents fitted. We had to give up Caravanning because my heart is damaged and I can’t walk to far, I get out of breath easily, We miss our Caravan but due to health issues and being in our 70s I wanted to go Caravanning again but Hubby says no! He is right. All the best is wished for both of you ❤❤❤

My dad had his first heart attack at the age of 35 which is when we moved from London to the Isle of Wight, he went on to have several internal defib/pacemakers fitted and lived into his 91’st year, he passed away in March due to dementia related problems, he lived a very full life as will Keith love to you both ❤️

Ohhh so sorry Keith and Michele to hear about Keith's heart attack, how frightening that must that of been, we're so glad your ok and recovering. My dad had a heart attack way back in the 80's and had a pacemaker fitted and was told not to go near the microwave because of the radio waves it gives out, we found this quite funny. if it wasn't for you we wouldn't of bought a caravan!! Keith glad you doing well. I had a heart attack last March and during my recovery I started watching you tube. Being owners of a folding camper and tented for years we had struggled the last year and it was proving just a little difficult. Jeannie always wanted a caravan but I never wanted the stress of towing and the complicated hassle. Then came carefree caravanning I got hooked on yours, and a couple more on caravans. So in April we went shopping and got ourselves a new sprite major 4SB, Debra and have had the best year touring which greatly helped my recovery. So what I’m trying to say is thank you and Michelle for giving me the confidence to buy debra and actually from the negative came a great positive so we can enjoy our 2nd chance. Hi there from Australia. You are so brave sharing your story. The same happened to me 13 months ago. I too was feeling very unwell for a week or so before having my first heart attack. I called the ambulance (under protest) then vomited soon after. The Ambulance recognised that I had a cardiac problem and was loaded into the ambulance and soon after had the second heart attack in the ambulance. The third heart attack came as they unloaded me out of the ambulance. Long story short, I got one stent, but was then put on high priority for a triple heart bypass. My operation was on January 2023. I have been enjoying wonderful health. Yes, a huge change in diet and the need to be more physically active. Like you, we are lucky to have not suffered any heart damage from the attacks. We love watching your adventures caravanning😊
Many years ago we had started caravanning and then changed to a VW campervan which was good but..had it's drawbacks. So we had break from campervans and caravans etc and decided after a long absence from them to purchase another caravan in 2018 just to see if it suited. I'm happy to say it did and we upgraded it again in 2021.
We had no regrets with the campervan but we prefer caravans.

So glad to have you guys back and sorry to hear of your problems but really happy your on the road to recovery. Was worried all was well as never been so long without a video but now it’s totally understandable. We lost my brother 3 years ago this November from a heart attack aged just 54 it was sudden and a real shock, like you he just thought he had a chest infection sadly, he didn’t go to hospital and now we don’t have him! I don’t know what we’d do without you two, despite following many others on TH-cam too now, you two were the very first caravaners I watched. Your friendliness, down to earth nature and just the way you come across on camera makes us feel like we’re almost part of the family, so, thank you for that. Wow Keith that is terrible. I developed sepsis November 2018 and died but our amazing NHS got me back. It took over 2 years to get back to normal-ish the sepsis caused a lot of damage I also developed PTDS it came from the out of body, death dream what ever it is. Very very relaxing which is an odd feeling but something was not right so I starting shouting at myself to walk up, so need that sorting. I can understand how scared you both were?
Be kind to yourself and my advice is get help for your mental health it really does help.
It is odd having a second chance isn’t it you look at things so differently. I love adore my wife I’m so lucky, I just couldn’t stop looking at her, realising how lucky I was to still be here. Trees birds grass smells OMG smells. I wish you both health and happiness.
When it comes to processed food OMG yes it is terrible for you. I have colitis and I tried a product called Yfood and I have just left hospital after a flare my doctor said Yfood it’s very heavily processed and it’s probably that but landed you in hospital. I’m quite lucky my wife cooks most of our own sources but avoiding process food is very difficult.

We came to the conclusion about large motorhomes very early. If we went anywhere you could see people who you saw on camp sites, with motorhomes, at bus stops, etc, basically anchored to the camp site. Although they look very appealing, easy to set up etc. we could see that they were logistically flawed. Even re-filling your water, or emptying your waste water you have to move the motorhome, whereas a caravan or a campervan you just fill an aqua roll or container up itself and empty a waste master. As far as other accommodation or holidays, a change is as good as a rest, particularly in the winter, where we go to Benidorm or Highland Lodge cabins in Scotland, hotels etc. never say never. There are times when they are the best option, when a long dark 16 hour night in December or January, trapped in a campervan or caravan might not be the best option or you just fancy a bit of heat and sun, particularly the older you get, when you feel the cold more.

First of all, I'm so glad you are on the road to recovery!!
Secondly, glad you have made a decision about the vehicle for your future adventures too.
We are relatively new caravanners and thought long and hard about mhome vs caravan - two things decided it for us - the motorhome cost is too high for us, and at least as important is the fact that we, like you, enjoy getting out and about and exploring which is far easier in a car than a motorhome most of the time.
Our caravan is a 2017 Bailey Unicorn Valencia ( she's called Doris) and we've had it since Jan 22 - it's difficult for us to get out of the close where we live, sometimes awkward to get out of the village ( parked cars on both sides of a b road), but we love it - it's a home from home when we are away in it and a great source of stress relief when we use it as we both have pressure at work.
Looking forward to seeing you enjoying your new journeys - we are off to Glastonbury, Dorset/Hants border, and Norfolk in ours this year and can't wait - we're also going to the C and M show at the NEC next month on the Saturday.

Crikey . Virtuall ditto , 5 years ago we had a swift challenger 2 berth our pride a joy , went to reighton sands in Filey to do some bird photography , pitched up and six hours later I had really bad indigestion and chest pains , wife called for a ambulance and they confirmed heart failure got rushed into hull heart hospital 50 miles away .. straight into the operating theatre and stent fitted .. after being allowed out we had to get car and caravan back to wales ( another story) as I couldn’t drive for 4 weeks. The wife then gave up and sold the caravan due to worry .move on a couple of years and the daughter talked us in to camping so we bought a huge air tent lovely thing but to heavy for a pair of pensioners . Last year in June we were away in it and it was freezing cold so we sat having dinner looked at one another and went CARAVAN . Spotted one in Yorkshire and fell in love with it bought it on the spot a used swift conquerer 2 berth ,coming up for our third holiday in 3 weeks back to Yorkshire for the birds on bempton cliffs ❤

So glad to hear that you’re on the mend, your videos are always a breath of fresh air and we were wondering why nothing new was posted, however you’ve answered that question now. My wife and I are are very similar to yourselves in the type of holidays, locations, eating habits 😅and so on and we even looked at going down the motorhome route ourselves, however we didn’t commit due to the “exploring while pitched up” problem that a motorhome can bring and also the stress that comes along with it in finding parking, so my wife and I have decided that motorhoming is not for us and we’ll be remaining dedicated caravaners for a few more years to come.

Firstly, sending well wishes to you both. Glad to see you well and back. My husband had a stroke and 8 weeks after had a heart attack in late 22 he was 51 at the time. After watching loads of channels and binge watching yours we decided to get a caravan last year. Had a great summer and winter so far. We look at life differently now. I don’t know you from Adam, but both my parents in law have had heart attacks. Both survived but with serious damage. They get by, but they’re not the same as they used to be. I did wonder, like many of us, why suddenly you had gone quiet on the video front, and was worried it could be something serious, as you'd not said you intended to take a break from this. Very pleased to hear it looks like you're going back to caravanning. Personally, I was surprised when you announced the change to the motorhome, especially as you were used to such a lovely big caravan with separate bedroom and large bathroom. Like you said, Motorhoming is quite different and very expensive, so I think you'll soon get back into the caravan lifestyle, especially as you've explored other holidays and recognised what you don't like. Can't wait to see the next video...

It’s a very scary experience, I know, I’ve been there, I was 51 at the time. That was nearly 21 years ago. With life style changes and medication, you will adjust and still enjoy life. I still caravan and enjoy our lives. I wish you all the best and live life to the full.

We started caravaning 3 years ago from tenting for 45 years,,absolutely loved your caravan blogs with your great ideas and best of all your humor,
We have a Bailey Grande Messina and despite many negative comments on Baileys we've been trouble free, lucky because we imported it ourselves to New Zealand, so no backup warranty,.
We will eagerly look forward to your posts again.
Ps, makes me think about reducing my sugar intake as sweets are my downfall.

Hi Keith and Michelle, exactly the same happened to me in Oct 23, only feeling sick, ECG show okay, but blood test showed heart attack, same as you 2 stents fitted, but on different operations, how are you feeling ? I'm not back to normal after 2.5 months were you ?
So glad you are still with us, and going back to caravans again, I didn't unscribe when you moved to Motorhomes, but have seen this before, as its not the same type of holidays

It was lovely to watch your video and see you back and both looking so well. Unfortunately we had to give up caravanning because my wife can’t climb in and we now go to hotels, but we have that same feeling. Perhaps I should look again at a hoist for entry and just look at what caravans are available for disabled people.

Recently found your channel and great content.
Like you we went from caravan to Motorhomes then campervan. All was well until last summer when we wanted to use P&R in Portsmouth and Salisbury only to find height barriers 😡😡. That showed Britain does not want to cater for ‘us types’ so we opted to go back to a caravan. Seems to be less stress but this summer will tell. Happy travels.

Ok so - wow!! Thank the Lord you were ok Keith. Sounded an absolutely horrendous experience! And for Michelle too.
But the huge good news is that you both have a lifestyle change which should see you on for a good few years yet.
I was watching this thinking, I know that I need to change too. Rubbish diet and not enough exercise. I am trying (as everyone does), to live better.
We did in the end buy a Motorhome -(cheers for the storage advice Keith) and we’re loving it.
So we both really hope that whatever you’re going to be doing is right for you 👍👍👍
And maybe we will see you on the road in the future (or wave over the storage fence) 😃

Glad you recovered. I had 7 arterial heart grafts 9 years ago and now feel as fit as a buck rat. Our NHS staff are brilliant despite the intolerable pressure they are under. We can look forward to better times to come for the NHS and hospital care in 2024.

Just looking not going to buy LOL we did the same last August and we walked out with buying a brand new Swift Challenger Hi Style 650l, So happy to hear your getting back on the mend and also that we too have had to change our lifestyle. Me with the crisps and biscuits along with the sweets and my wife who broke both her arms has our Golden Retriever pulled her and she fell braking those two arms, but it has made her decide after spending 10 days in hospital that she has stopped drinking and smoking as she did like a drink and the hospital advised her to stop because of the liver damage. We look forward to hearing about your next purchase, take care the both of you and stay healthy

I’ve only just watched this. I was in tears. Several years ago it happened to my husband, aged 47. Like Keith, we had no idea he was having a heart attack because we expected it to be like in the movies - pain in the arm and clutching of the chest. Again, like Keith, he likened it to a heavy weight, as if an elephant was sitting on his chest. We didn’t call for an ambulance either because well they are just for emergencies aren’t they and we didn’t want to waste their time?! 🙄 I took him to the GP who called for an ambulance. The paramedics then called for an air ambulance because they needed to operate quickly. So Michele, when you were reliving it, I was reliving it with you. Again, like Keith he needed 2 stents. Sadly it did damage his heart so he wasn’t as lucky in that respect but he survived and we will forever be in debt to the NHS. It changes you completely. Our outlook on life has changed. Life is not a dress rehearsal. He works part time now and we are buying our first Motorhome next month. One thing that has changed is he gets so emotional now and when Keith started welling up, I wondered if it’s a common thing after a heart attack. Wishing you both a healthy future xx

So sorry to hear of your health issues, pleased that you’re on the road to recovery, we had a caravan and changed to a Motorhome but have now changed back again to the caravan, it suits our needs much better, unfortunately not been able to use this last year due to health issues with my Mum. You never know what’s around the corner. Having a Motorhome sounds good at the time but then after a while and all the parking issues, you realise that the Caravan is better.
