These trails are absolutely incredible, always love riding Aboyne, it’s so unique! Well ridden guys, some very tricky conditions right there. Those trails are hard enough when it’s bone dry - hats off! ❤
Fantastic video and great riding! I have a score to settle with the Deliverance slab! Messed up the new GoPro settings on that day so not really useable but stopped all alone by myself for a look at the top "Hell's Bells I Ain't Doin' That!"......"Holy Moly that is the steepest thing I've seen! Rediculous, absolutely rediculus!" Enduro newb reaction 🤣 . Loved the rest of the trail, great place on my journey to learning enduro riding. Next time the blacks and slab re-match!
thanks! Don't blame you - i had the same first thoughts. If I (Laura) had been on my own hadn't seen the group doing it I don't think I would have given it a go! It's intimidating! Definitely a great place to improve riding skills
Nicely done 😊. Still not popped over to try Deliverance yet. Done schwing a few times and twisted sister. But avoiding “reaper” that looks super scary 😂.
Real woman right there! Love it to see more lasses on the bike's actually nothing better than having them in your team tops that is! Bloody some balls tae thats for sure😂
While flying down deliverance one summer afternoon I got stung in the chest by a wasp, kinda Knocked me off my stride 😂. A.j who built many of the trails around there does a fantastic job. He was also the creator of ''Doon the Brae Enduro events around Aberdeenshire. While you're in the area check out Heartbreak Ridge and Mastermind in Ballater, you won't be disappointed.
Oh no 😂 I can imagine! Ah didn’t realise A J was involved there. We rode with one of the other builders, super nice and great trails! Yep we’re familiar with those and they’re also well worth it. Last time it chucked it down when we were up on heartbreak ridge so looking forward to a drier ride next time with less rush to get down!
@LauraJaneWeeTamMTB Need an ebike to get two three runs in down HBR. One went down Mastermind and unknowingly had my fork locked, fastest I've ever gone down it ???????
What rain trousers are you using in those conditions? You have so many crazy "race-style" Trails 👍 I would love to see more like this in Germany as well - but it's getting better during the last years. The really hard stuff is still only at races or illegally "built" - and you have to find it. I hope some more German Ski-Areas will finally realize that there is not so much winter anymore and take bikers up as well...
We don’t use full waterproof because it gets too hot but some regular water repellant trousers work ok and you just accept getting a bit damp and muddy! It is very good in Scotland for natural riding - lots of recognised natural trails and good relationships with many land owners. We did a little riding in Freiburg and enjoyed it a lot! Would be nice to have more like that :)

They really are. Already can’t wait to go back! Thanks, yeah not the easiest to ride in! Hopefully it’s dry next time!
What a great, fun video! Makes me wanna ride with your group!
The trails look awesome!
Thanks! We had a blast and glad it comes across. Always try to share the stoke in our vids 😁

The first section with all the steep switchbacks reminded me of Win Hill. Looks like an epic area 👊
Those rocks features at 02:42 😱😂 then the slab at 05:35 some really spicy stuff up in Aboyne skillfully riden thanks for sharing! 😁🤙
Yeah some intimidating features and sections! Was a good buzz in the group and definitely helped! Thanks!

Well Done to the whole group on this one, trails are great mix of flow-tech with some intimidating features.
Spot on - it had a bit of everything. Can’t wait to ride there again. Really well built trails!

Aboyne has fantastic trails and I haven't even ridden them all yet
It really does! Did a few mellower ones earlier in the year which were super too. Great variety 👌
00:26 Recognise that bloke 🤣 00:58 we past that wee dude too.
Hahah that was a scary wee dude!
🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣damn, I'm surprised it's even possible to ride on such a difficult route... respect for your profession.
Thanks, yeah some tricky sections and trails! 🙌
Good area to ride😎
absolutely!
Looks ridiculously hard but fun
Definitely. A lot of buzz at the end of each one!
What are the E Wilds like any good? Worth swapping out magic mary n big Betty?
Never ran a magic Mary I’m afraid! I actually just run the Michelin wild MS now which are good for ebike and regular. Amazingly grippy!
