Dude I fking love that you had the balls to just go ahead and buy this thing, being able to look past all the broken parts and realize that you’d be able to repair it and have and end up with a perfectly fine SF V4S for like $10,000 cheaper (if not more)
Dude, this is crazy. I got your video on my homepage and I just clicked on it and only at the end did I see that you don't have thousands of subscribers. The video was great and entertaining and I got really thrilled to follow your project. Keep it up, cant wait to see the next vids 🔥
Probably worked it out by now, but yeah the mirrors bolt into the fluid reservoirs. Its likely the original owner speced the bike with rizoma mirrors from factory and kept them.
This is actually really dope man! Been watching your content for a long time now. You make what I always strive to look for and even make myself. Very nice Ducati! Well worth it if you ask me 💯
Hey I hope you see this. I commented previously about needing shorter bolts. ALSO the one on the right side (if riding) is reverse threaded. So it's clockwise to loosen. At least on my v2 it is. That was a pain. I Thought it was stuck and stripped it.
aw man you has to say it...."it doesnt seem that hard to fix" lol good luck with the build! i'm in the middle of a 2024 s1000rr rebuild so i know how exciting it is. Subbed!

Good luck! You are certainly not generic. Make us proud.
you have to get a shorter bolt for the reservoirs after the mirrors are removed. I just did that to mine

Dude sick! I’m excited to see the build!
Keen to see the finished result, I just finished rebuilding my R6 after crashing it earlier in the year

Legitimately, I just noticed that as I was taking it off, I ordered 2 reverse thread bolts just now, lol
