That is a great video I have to build something almost identical and have the same concrete fence posts so this is amazing step by step for my project. Thanks for posting this!!

I’m building a lean to shed. Bolts for fixing the 3x3 to the concrete posts were a big help. Never seen them before.

This is by far the best video I've seen showing the process. I've watched parts 1 and 2 twice. I need a lean-to and have been getting ridiculous quotes but might actually try it myself after watching these

I'm thinking of building something similar at the side of my house. The problem I have is that I will be using clear plastic sheeting as the roof. However there's a black pipe coming down the side of the house. When i put the plastic sheeting around the pipe. What's the best way to make it water tight?

Question about drilling into the concrete posts.
Have you had any adverse effects i.e. cracking or fixings loosening from the wind and elements over time?
I'm thinking of doing the same thing instead of sinking more posts into the ground right against my fence.
    Great vid btw👍

Permitted development rights allow a max height of 2.5m within 2m of a boundary.. so long as the structure doesn't project forward of the principal elevation of the property.. Check out the gov planning portal.... It's worth checking with your local planning authority because some authorities have exclusions which prohibits this kind of development..

I know this is an old video but it popped up when I was watching something else.
Check your local Council. This could need planning permission and if it’s a party wall, you will need your neighbours permission. Just because it’s your house and your fence it doesn’t mean you can do what you want.
