My favourite warframe tamagotchi guide creator back at it again! For real though crazy how far you took this from the single silly mechanic we noticed.
i was testing the bladestorm damage since the wiki says it scales off of meele damage mods but it didnt seem to work like that, so im glad that you could confirm this 0:45
That part of the video was actually untrue ashes blades storm is perhaps the most poorly worded ability in the game because there is an entire other side to the damage. The storm actually uses your male weapon and it’s equipped mods before the ability damage number applies. it’s an extremely convoluteddamage instance so I would recommend watching the KENGINEERS video on it
I found your video looking for a secondary outburst weapon option, which lead me to your other video, then i found this, because i was looking exactly to a Ash build, Jesus!!! Great job
You a real on fr 💯 But honestly tho its so refreshing to see new creative wf creators doing creative and interesting builds Im gonna slowly try building this set-up of yours for my ash Keep goin doin these builds
Crazy how I was finding absolutely nothing for ash blade storm and making it scale far only to come upon a video explaining every single part about it, so awesome and underrated ur a legend for making this
One thing to note: afaik blade storm DOES scale with x multiplier but it DOES NOT increase the x multiplier with crescendo if the enemy dies from the bleed and not the initial strike dmg of the clones.
Dude, how did you make a video that is more informative, concise, and funnier that most creators while also being under 7 minutes? I'm thinking some of these creators just like to hear themselves talk.
Great Video, except there is a better veapon thank venka prime for Ash's Bladestorm called "Innodem" for 2 reasons 1) you have an incarnon form that gives 60% finisher damage, 2) It has also 25% attack speed for faster animation and actually 3) Covert lethality is a unique mod for daggers that increase finisher damage even more. For varframe mods, u do not need fleeting expertise as long as you have primed flovv and equlibrium. This can prolong savage silence duration and invisibility if needed. Second arcane go, for molt augmented for an extra 60% STR
What are your thoughts on ash now? After the release of Jade Shadows, DE either silent nerfed him or it's a bug as a result of them "Fixing a script error in Ash's Blade Storm" as stated in the patch notes. Melee Crescendo and other finisher arcanes don't work anymore with Blade Storm, and according to others (I haven't subsumed Banshee yet), the Savage Silence augment now also does not affect Blade Storm.
After testing further, it looks like Arcane Fury doesn't even affect Blade Storm anymore. Your melee weapon also doesn't affect Blade Storm at all now, no matter what mods you have on it. I've tried faction mods, finisher mods, different weapons with and without mods, etc. The animation speed of Blade Storm is not affected by attack speed anymore either, and neither does sliding during casting make the Blade Storm animation faster. Arcane Trickery does not proc off Blade Storm at all, unless my luck is ungodly and it just didn't roll the 15% off 5+ waves of enemies in Simulacrum. It looks like they made Blade Storm count entirely as just an ability. It no longer procs melee or finisher conditionals off anything. The Skiajati Unique Perk also does not proc off Blade Storm. Arcane Arachne doesn't affect Blade Storm damage for some reason either. Putting Natural Talent on Ash for some extra casting speed only sped up his animation by 2 seconds (from 19 seconds). All this was tested against level 150 Steel Path Orokin in the Simulacrum. One unique Blade Storm interaction I noticed, though I don't know if this is old news or not, is that if you select enemies with Blade Storm (before activating it), it takes the energy cost away from you before you even re-activate the ability to start Blade Storm. If you're invisible and then select enemies, even if you're visible when you re-activate the ability, it'll still only be half the energy cost it would be if you were to be visible when you selected the enemies with Blade Storm. Similarly, if you're visible and select enemies, and then go invisible and re-activate Blade Storm, it'll still take the full regular energy cost from you per enemy selected. Molt Reconstruct also does nothing with Blade Storm. Edits: Steel Charge still works apparently. It's worth noting that while Blade Storm does not receive the affects of Arcane Fury or Arcane Strike, it activates both of them when it damages an enemy. More testing: Seemingly no matter what arcane it is, it does not work affect Blade Storm's damage or speed. I have not tested with abilities or arcanes that affect allies such as the Theorem Arcanes. Combat Discipline does not proc from Blade Storm kills, but it does proc if the enemies die from the preliminary slash ticks left after the animation ends. Blade Storm does not activate Arcane Reaper. Edits again: ARCANE BLADE CHARGER STILL WORKS?!?! With 258% strength and nothing else, I was getting initial procs for 8256 and secondary slash procs for 3612. With Arcane Blade Charger active at R0, it was boosting my damage to 10836 on the initial and 4741 on the secondary. This is now the only thing besides Steel Charge I have found to boost Blade Storm damage besides Strength/Strength boosting abilities (Roar/Madurai).
@@ma-shin They have it listed as an issue they're investigating on the forums after some bug reports to them about it. Hopefully they fix it and not all of this was intentional...
@ma-shin I think its fucking annoying and a stupid nerf to a frame that has already fallen by the wayside compared to modern frames kit, I noticed it myself when trying to get footage for the next video. Skiajati never used to work since it doesn't consider your melee weapon, but I'm fairly certain this was caused by decoupling Slash Procs from True damage which seems to have made it no longer count as a finisher. Hopefully @IsaiahOlsonCursedNoven is right about it being a known issue that gets fixed, cos I have another video sat waiting with some fun tech that build off this Ash setup and its on hold until we get some kind of confirmation either way, or I may have to rewrite & re-record it. EDIT: Just looked on the known issues forum page and ya boi @IsaiahOlsonCursedNoven is on point, its being investigated and hopefully should be fixed next patch, which is also hopefully before my next video is done.
@@Toxic_Rock for real if literally any of this is intentional it sucks when Ash isn’t even the best frame at all anymore like you say. I just invested in his prime pre patch and was having a blast building around his 4. Even if they revert all the changes (if it’s truly all bugs), I’m still worried how his true damage will do since they nerfed every armor and buffed raw hp. Like that is an indirect nerf on its own but hopefully if things are fixed/reverted it’ll be enough to make his 4 good again
It do still cook, though i would recommend using the arcane battery and archon shards setup I mention in the Ivara video, it's way less involved and can go much further with damage
It's the Eukar Claw Skin, it was part of Nightwave Nora's Mix Volume 4 but they haven't brought it back yet so keep an eye on Nora's shop. Hopefully they will bring it in along with some of the old Nightwave Weapon Augments, they've brought back Deadly Maneuver's for the Magnus in the shop for the first time this week :D
You can use any melee weapon so long as you have melee crescendo on, you'll get slightly less of a bladestorm crit chance buff and bladestorm damage since you'll be limited to a 12x combo, but using a weapon you are more comfortable with should make up for the difference, especially with full combo glaive airbursts
Ash main here, i play a Ash smokescreen, gloom build with Lex incarnon and 4 Tauforged Red shards for secondary crit and 1 for duration. You can near kill everything
ok now make the same thing that will work for archimedia, aka no specific weapons allowed, together with the usual BS debufs like 70% less duration, constant energy drain etc and if it will somehow synergise well with circuit buffs, even better any other build is pointless because pretty much everything works for basic endurance SP or whatever, aka whats the point of making synergy builds when there is zero need for them, either make it work standalone/with every weapon or dont make it at all
Or just realise you can take build concept and apply them to other scenarios, there's a whole bunch of stuff in this video that can also be used outside of this loadout. Like the sepulcrum and dread loadouts are just standalone good crit weapon builds and venka work alright on basically any loadouts too
So much talk for such mundane information. You scratched the surface of how ashs bladestorm works and got a rather weak build there. Purely a waste of time to watch this. "Cooking with ash" You took the simplest and shortest recipe you could find didnt you
You know its good when you have a weapons platform for your weapons platform
