I know Sansa ends up a victor by the end of the show, but..I _still_ feel bad she had to go through so much pain to get there.

So true - I feel the same as you; her victory is bittersweet & this arc does not get enough credit. She transforms from overindulged upstart to emotionally remote political player. All BECAUSE of the pain she goes through. Great insight! Xx

Sansa has been my favorite character since the beginning and I loved when she became the Queen in the North. Btw I need Cersei’s video, such a powerful character too!! ❤️

I see you, my Kindred GoT Spirit! Thank you for your sweet comment; YAS, totally agree with you. Cersei's vid is forthcoming (such a powerful character, for sure).
Just finished Cersei's research & am filming it after Tywin's. There's a lot of great psychological themes to explore! Much love to you, dear one Xx

Since you were kind enough to drop a comment on our channel I wanted to return the favor. Glad I did. GOT is such a great show for the psychological depth all the characters bring. Cool break down. Thanks!

This is surreal, as I have been reading your essays for 2 years now - thank you, Joshua! So appreciate that; love exploring the psychology of fictional characters. Excited to see more of your vids! Xx

I'm not sure if you read the books but I have a feeling that you would find her very interesting. I love her EVEN more cause we can actually be in her head.

Thank you, Haven! Have only read the first GoT book; absolutely going to take your advice & read the rest to get a fuller understanding of her character - thank you for the recommendation. X

Thank you for posting this, Susanna! I agree, Sansa Stark suffers, endures and finally, beautifully triumphs

Aaaawww, thank you! So brilliantly put, Terence... she does indeed suffer, endure and triumph, yes.; feels like it comes at such a traumatic cost for her to become so steely and mature. The word ENDURANCE outlines her character's arc, for sure. xx

Great, beautifully articulate analysis. Thank you!
Also, her direwolf Lady is the first direwolf to die. Symbolizing her departure from the North and loss of her innocence. Also, she is manipulated and abused by Littlefinger as well. He kisses her when she is like 14 or 15. And sells her to Lysa and then Ramsey.

Thank you for your kind words, Maksim! You are totally right about the direwolf symbolism; it is very harrowing & illustrative of her shift. Wish I had included that topic now, aha!
Agreed - Littlefinger absolutely manipulates & abuses her to further his political agenda. He sexualises & conditions her gradually. Thank you for highlighting these points - we should have collabed before I filmed this, aha!

Amazing video I love it. I would like to know how do you think of the relationship between Cersei and Sansa. Do you feel Cersei was kind of mentor/abuser to sansa? In season 7 episode 1 Cersei and John talk about their ennemie and John tell sansa: you sound almost like you're admire her. And she said I learn a great deal from her. I do believe GOT miss an opportunity to have a scene between sansa and cersei.... in season 7 or 8.

Your analysis started well but you fumbled in between, I don't think a character is evil all the time - that's childish, while Cersei was evil most of the times, I don't think she was evil all the time, I think her conversation with Sansa in the dungeon was just that - a conversation, I don't think she meant to frighten Sansa.
