A badass rock power ballad duet? Uh YES PLEASE! This sounds so amazing, now I’m wishing even more that you would cover ‘It’s Over’ from the Dracula musical. It only got added to the soundtrack when the German version added ‘Zu Ende’ so there aren’t any quality English versions of the song out there, but it would sound so cool with your voice!
It would definitely be great with these two - but I will say that taking German musical numbers in to English is not always the easiest. You can't necessarily just google translate it you have to actually have a little knowledge of the language and how things interact - case in point 'Zu Ende' can translate literally to 'To End', need the bit to understand it's meant to be, in English 'It's Over'. Then after that, and adjusting for word order, there's a fair chance that in order to keep the rhythm and all you have to play with the words to get that right, but also ideally not completely change the meaning of the song and lines. A great example of that (and something I'd love one of these two to cover) is actually 'Totale Finsternis' from 'Tanz Der Vampire' - or 'Total Eclipse' as it's usually translated to albeit I feel that has a bit more to do with the origins of the song (as within the song the other translation 'Total Darkness' makes more sense to the lyrics translation I know). The song writer was actually the same who wrote 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' - and so he reused the music for that number but wrote entirely new lyrics for it that are still sung similar to the English song so someone with 0 knowledge of German might just think it was an odd German cover, but when they brought the show to the US, one of the many issues it had was they just changed it to the Bonnie Tyler song and it doesn't work. However the biggest hurdle is likely the cruel overlord that is the TH-cam algorithm. Anime covers, nostalgia music, meme songs, or whatever is currently popular - those are safe bets to get the views and get paid, unfortunately, songs from German/German versions of musicals, less likely to be thrown up on almost everyone's front page and all. Which is kinda sad cause there is a lot of good ones.

I actually subscribed because of the covers of musicals, but it’s sadly pretty clear that the algorithm strongly favors pop songs that are new and trending.
