I just bought this vacuum. It's a beast. But you are very correct about that flimsy clip for the waste. I just vacuumed the carpet and was able to admire all the dirt it picked up. As it's now sitting on a heap on my clean carpet after falling out...
Sorry if you got this, I loved ours but read my post. The bloody Hepa filter is stuck in the machine above the motor. It’s a bad design, just make sure you empty it regularly and you’ll get a good run out of it.
Absolutely love this item🌼 It’s super quiet, suction...let me say, I was embarrassed after seeing the tank and how much I vacuumed up (when I vacuum every day)
you all probably dont give a shit but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Ledger Oliver I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
My family has a Rainbow vac. Not sure if you're familiar with them but basically you fill a canister with water and that water acts as the filter and catches absolutely everything. Although it works extremely well.... it's a pain in the ass because you need to disassemble it, fill a canister with water, reassemble it, vacuum then disassemble, dump the filthy water in the toilet while making somewhat of a mess and then reassemble before putting the vacuum away..... oh yeah, plus it does not have a cord retractor. We got rid of our old canister vac 20 years ago because when we turned it on, the thing would blow dust at start up from the filter or whatever. Does this vacuum catch all the dust or does it blow it about while it's running?
What is the results on Hard floor , Tiles , Timber etc using the standard floor tool. Was a little disappointed you didn't demonstrate this . Does the turbo head allow fairly easy access to remove the brush bar to get serious tangle s cleaned away ? I was looking at replacing my old Dyson DC17 with a new Dyson Animal Big Ball but have read heaps of dissatisfied reviews on them. The Miele looks solid and very powerful in comparison. We have s Ragdoll Cat who leaves plenty of fur around on our carpets and hard surfaces so looking at a better option.
Has it developed an odor from the pet fur or has washing the “Gore” filter kept it smelling fresh? Have you noticed a drop in suction? That’s what’s held me back from buying it and those are historically consistent bagless-vac flaws. I love to see what my machine has picked up, and this model looks great! But I also know changing a bag and being able to replace the HEPA filter will resolve smelly exhaust air or loss in suction/air flow.
The HEPA filter is locked on top of the motor, you can’t easily replace the stupid thing unless you drop $280 on a new whole kit! The $280 ain’t including the cost of an actual service!!! It’s moulded and glued into the part! Stupid design. It’s a big white plastic thing that’s screwed on top of the motor, I sprayed glen 20 down the spout and sucked it up in there! No not the best but at least it don’t stink no more;)
The actual HEPA filter is moulded into the plastic motor cover. Nup you can’t replace that unless you have $280 sitting around to buy the part! My vacuum started to smell (after 4yrs of use). I had no idea why?? I soaked all the components in vinegar to try to stop the smell, only to realise the main filter is inside the machine. In frustration I sucked up some glen 20! I even pulled off the side panel to reveal the back of the HEPA filter (you can see how it’s glued in when you do that!) and gave that a dose of glen 20. While I can’t remove it, at least now it don’t stink. What a stupid design, I really do expect more out of Miele! So I’d be really careful making sure your machine is emptied every time you use it, just to make sure you remove as much dust as you can so it don’t get sucked through onto the permanent filter. I’ll probs buy the part to replace the current filter and fit it myself in a year or so and have it on hand to change once this one starts smelling again. Hope this helps !
thank you for the video. you used very convincing tests to demonstrate quality of cleaning. the views of the floor before and after were out of focus for a good part of it. going more slowly over rug with the camera.
I can help with the Dyson animal big ball. Not good! We have a long haired dog and the head clogs in no time with suction being average at best when this happens. Super expensive and just not good enough Dyson. Miele will be my next try...
@@sileahcimmasrs6882the bloody Hepa filter is screwed on top of the motor, don’t worry they only cost $280 a part! I got a shock the other day once mine started smelling after 4yrs. I want everyone to know so they don’t get disappointed like I did. The Vac’s now cost over $700 from Harvey Norman ! I was really disappointed with that engendered fault !
Better suction, a little bit more solid/robust and not as noisy (deeper sound - not as whiney)... that said, its not perfect. Im tempted to buy a new dyson in the future and compare.. just dont have the $$
The flex hose is too short and the brush is attached to the handle so if you wanted to do curtains then you have to pick up the vacuum and stand on something. Not ideal
I have had Dyson before, and THIS Miele one is LOTS better... It comes down to personal choice, but for me I think Miele outperforms Dyson on Power/Suction (Especially for pet hair)
Does this have the motorised power head, or the air-driven one? I've found the air-driven ones are next to useless when contending with husky moulting.
I was really interested from Miele, but 550-890 watts are not adequate at all. And it is annoying when they trying to persuade us as the vacuuming is the same as has 1200 watts. Really. Thanks for the video dude. It was helpful. I watched a video where they hovering rise and flour from hard flour by means of 2000 watts Miele, wow that is impressive, I am speechless,
Its Hepa filter is screwed on top of the motor, just spray glen20 down the spout and it’ll be fine. Otherwise buy the part for $280!!! I got so upset the other day when I found out about this I’ve made it my mission to warn people about it!
No, unfortunately. However you can simply remove and change attachments. Also, ive realised that its more a "turbo brush" (relying on the suction to spin - not power). This gets annoying when vacuuming lounges/sofas... Ive had dyson before and the power head is better on that..
unfortunetly not good for long hair, i have shih tzu and 3 girls....brush blocked every few minutes, very hard to clean and removed hair form the brush
@@yannih1782 Do you have the option for a power head in your country? I know the SEB 228 and SEB 236 heads have an easier way to get the hair out at least. If you can find a Blizzard with even the small powerhead, you could upgrade to one of those.
Spent almost $800 on this piece of garbage a few years back and I have to remove the hair every single time after vaccuming, even though I don't have any pets at home. Best part is that I got lazy and didn't clean it for a few times and all the plastic joints got melted! ⚠️⚠️ If you are considering to get one of these vaccume cleaners from Miele, please think twice. ⚠️⚠️

I'm about to buy one today from Havery Normans Bathurst 5 years on and it's still $699 au and that's on sale

Looking great
What does it mean when vac stops..and the orange compact light comes on
Can you use the hose with comfort handle on a c3 or they are not interchangeable?
Still a good vaccume after this long? Im trying to decide between this and the miele c3 cat and dog
Yeah it's still good. Some small issues, like the bagless dust bin clip. But overall i am happy with it. It is robust and has great suction!
Bought my mother the C3 Cat and dog powerline today as a birthday present, works like a charm!

Do you think Dyson or Miele better
Miele is far superior to Dyson.

Miele .I have both and I can say miele is perfect
Having two dogs and after my Dyson broke I decided to switch to Miele cats & dogs, that has been definitevely a good move

i have huskies too and am looking at which vacuum cleaner is best suited to picking up the hair.
Good video 👍
I've just bought a second hand model, 1200W.
Sadly it got a doggy smell.
I'm not so sure if it's got more power than 890W bagged Miele though.

Only used it twice
Good job
Thanks! :)
Is this an 890W version?
yes
I dont think they produce any longer higher power models
You forgot to show how one can empty trash can.
True!! I will post an update of this Vacuum soon, and will remember to add that. Thanks for the feedback.
wow, it picked up dust you had put on the carpet, that's impressive.
if you've never owned a miele you wouldnt know how exciting it is to do this. Could suck the tiles off the floor.
The motor is too weak... I preferred the 2200w one
Please tell Mark what vacuum cleaner you bought?
wattage does not equal suction power

What size are your feet?
This is not cleaner. More accurately this is muck. Very possibly the worst looking thing I've ever seen.
Pretty feet
